Not very interesting, or written to be interesting. I already kind of want to give up on it, but I'll wait a while, it's not that long and it can't be like this forever

This definitely will not be as interesting, or just plain good asKing's Cage was. But I need a book to read at work, or at least until Cruel Crown gets here to give me more of my obsession with red queen

Evangeline's POV is interesting, but I don't know if it's necessary, but Mares reunion with everyone is very heartwarming

As soon as it starts getting boring another fantastic sequence happens. I love Iris, I love her Shade. I'm freaking out bc it seems like Shade is back in a cliffhanger but it can't be I know it's some trick. I'm so ready for more

A lot more like the first one with mare being almost royalty against her will. A lot more interesting though, I still wished the other POV chapters were Cal instead of Cameron, but it's not bad

I hear Cameron's voice as Scottish, wasn't expecting while chapters where I would read it in a Scottish accent. Still waiting for it to suck me in but I'm still looking forward to what's to come

I haven't cried at any book I can remember, but Shade's death, while I knew it had to be coming, still hurts

Cameron is as awesome as she is annoying, but what she says is right, and I don't know why Mare is so dismissive of the Little Legion(even if she feels guilty about it). I'm also starting to actually feel like her and Cal's romance is justifiable

Very exciting, even if the spat bw made and kilorn seems a little forced. Looking forward to seeing all the new bloods, hopefully they will go into their characters more

Very similar to the Huger Games, with the rebellion's resources going much farther than we thought kind of thing. But still very fun, and starting to get less depressing

I was having doubts with how strange all the actions scenes were written, like I couldn't really understand what was going on. I had read and reread descriptions of the environment to really understand as well, but my doubt is dwindling. The constant betrayals may get tiring, but for now I can enjoy the cinematic moments. Like mare punching Kilorn just becaus and I'm actually starting to get into it again
