This book certainly Meanders. Very slow burn, even though they've been dating since 30%. Vivian is cute as she experiences new things, Malcom is a little bland besides just trying to make everyone happy. Horseback riding is cute, showing off the palace was fun to see through Vivian's eyes

Seems to have an issue with balancing all the plot threads. I don't really care about the revolution or really understand it, it's mentioned a lot and has significance but not really explained at all. Want more romance but now that the truth about Marshall is out it seems to pick up. I still don't really like this monster plot. Romance is the most interesting by far

I don't remember the last time I read a romance and not a romCOM, because this definitely is too drama (or just has great characters) to be a simple romcom. I thought it was overdone but I love it

This woman needs therapy about how to go to therapy - has no one told her you don't try to impress your therapist??? Also has no music teacher ever told her just to practice the bars she has trouble with?? WHO raised this woman lol

Super cool that both MCs are Bisexual and its the most casual thing in the world. I was a little worried that Mich would be sexualized but they're both pretty cool reps. Weird sex scenes, its like Gabe is the Hulk with how many times he's worried about breaking or hurting her wtf

The most interesting part of this book so far has been being driven crazy at who narrates it because they are so familiar and ITS APRIL ONEIL FROM 2003 TMNT otherwise nothing is really happening. she finds some letters, she raises some chickens, she is sad about furniture, everyone kinds tries to help her celebrate christmas but also its JUST starting to snow so idk when this really is

Initially I was not convinced I would ever want them to get together, and some things still make me cringe (a guy who doesnt pay attn to his gf disgusts me so much) but the author does a good job and making him seem more thoughtful. The increasingly ridiculous misunderstandings is fun

JEEZ this is dull. Langsam. just kind of this poor girl being fussed over and terrified at the thought of being sick, and then at being healthy, as people shove opium into her, and she doesn't care much about anything. I hope Darcy comes in soon

Considering I didnt like either of the "for fans of.." for this, im not expecting much. Also I just finished the Last Checkmate which is so HEAVY, I want some fluff, and my expectations to be properly lowered for the rest of christmas fluff season

Shocked to realize this was the same author as the horrendous Matchmaker's List, but this is already so much fun!! Very tropey and a lot of telling you what happens instead of showing it, but it's so much fun with the banter and hints of steaminess

This is by far my favorite of the series, I can't remember most of the 2nd and first one I enjoyed a lot too, but this is so great! hattie is such a fun character, its so sexy, and Lucien is a great romantic interest. Love the discussions of feminism and how its different for different economic classes, and every single class has a valid thing to be concerned about

Really liking this one, glad I didn't cancel the hold or turn away by the longer listening time lol. Rovan is a fun character, and I'm attached to Jaffa a lot as well, sooo want to know more about the Ghost, and a bit more about Lydia as they grow closer together

God this woman is HORNY. The character and the author, it's almost getting tedious. Still don't really understand how this world works, she's warned to be careful when asking for information but the first person she meets in the library tells her everything she wants!

Surprising amount or erotic scenes within the first 30 pages lol but at least it's moving fast. I find that I don't remember whole lot from the first one and the way these demon realm works does not make sense maybe because of that

Pretty meh until got to the story of Vita, I sooo want that to play into the MC changing or something, of at least have more nonhumans out there. Otherwise its kinda boring, just waltzing around this castle

I get all the feels reading seeing flynn and rapunzel fall in love again, and when the action kicks in it is pretty fun. I want them to be okay, but i think its more bc i already love these characters together, not really because this story remade them in any fun way

do NOt like the whole interludes at the hospital, its like the author including their own notes? annoying. Like how Rapunzel has to learn about her magic

??? Why do people think this is good. These are spoiled dumb children grown up still looking for validation and dumb parents who think bc they know the right thing that they do the right thing. But they're all pretty stupid, and Savannah isn't even working that hard to scam them. It's BORING and long and a real twist better be coming soon
