Okay, so I restarted this book on a four hour plane journey. I’m now really loving it and think it is my favourite Jane Austen book yet (the selection being limited since I’ve only read three).

Okay. So who is this BTEC Magnus? Malcolm Fade, High Warlock of Los Angeles? Sounds like Cassie Clare’s run out of ideas. Also I really miss the only person who wasn’t a complete tosser (ie: Magnus). Where is my fave?

I'm not really feeling this. All the desperate references to past books and that clumsy introduction to bilingual Cristina. Magnus Bane better come save this or else.

WE’RE BACK BABY! Ew, did I just say. DARN TOOTIN’ RIGHT I DID!

I decided to re-read this book because I started reading Smoke and Iron (#4) and I couldn’t remember what happened in the third. I don’t see this as a particularly bad thing, after all I first read this book almost a year and a half ago. I’m bound to forget a lot. So anyway, I can’t wait to get back into this gorgeous series!

Time to hop on the bandwagon. Wish me luck.

Well, that escalated quickly. I was on like page 12. I thought this was going to be a good, wholehearted fictional assassin story. Boy, was I wrong. I may never pick this book up ever again. There are some things you just don’t recover from.

This book is too confusing! Too much happening. Too many names! I am not enjoying this.
