I love Pi’s views on religion so much. He’s such a interesting character/person.

This is such a beautiful book (so far) and is turning out to be so much more than “boy is stuck on boat with tiger”. I honestly don’t want to go to bed and put it down.

This is the most confusing contemporary book I’ve ever read. Who’s Fluffy, why is Dev back, why has a sudden mosh pit broken out?

Did this book actually just try to validate the fetishisation of gay guys by straight girls through mentioning how straight guys get off to lesbian porn? Are you kidding me?

Are we SUPPOSED to ship this incest. Also why is the author making Hiral a sudden jerk just so we’ll back Cord and Rylin getting together? That’s a cop out.

This is genuinely such a common thought for people with CP and it made my heart sink because I really felt for Harper in the moment. I don’t know what the author’s connection is to CP but I personally think it’s a very accurate portrayal.

Someone please help me. This book has me in a reading slump.

At least we know that Fitzgerald improved from here to ‘The Great Gatsby’. I’m pretty bored, if I’m being honest.

3) You love with Gideon Glick’s portrayal of Dill Baker-Harris in the Broadway production of “To Kill A Mockingbird” and you know Harper Lee based Dill off Truman Capote so you want to read Capote’s work so you’re about to order “In Cold Blood” but it’s too scary for you so you order “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” instead

Okay. So I currently want to fight Holden. He kind of reminds me of Dawson from Dawson’s Creek (or rather Dawson of him since this came first) and Dawson really gets on my wick. He also reminds me a bit of Melchior from Spring Awakening (and as much as I love Jonathan Groff, Melchior’s a little toerag too).

So, I usually don’t read non-fiction but I really admire Jane Goodall so I wanted to give this a try!

Okay, so I restarted this book on a four hour plane journey. I’m now really loving it and think it is my favourite Jane Austen book yet (the selection being limited since I’ve only read three).
