I can see the issues people are having with this book. So far though, I’m really enjoying it!

I don’t know what I was expecting out of this book but this was not it. I don’t want to say that I don’t like it - because that isn’t quite true but I don’t really like it either. It’s not a weird book, its intense, suspenseful and slow burning. Honestly from the “Thrills and Chills” add on section of BOTM I expected some thrills and chills. I’m not getting them.

I can tell that I am just not going to like this one. At this point I’m continuing for the purpose of writing a review. I can see the appeal of this book, but it is not for me.

I am loving this story! I’m very drawn into finding out what exactly makes Kerina so special and different from others like her!!!!

It’s getting better but honestly this isn’t it for me. There were better ways to tell this story. It has so much potential and I personally am not seeing it.

Picked it back up. I skimmed the first half to make sure I remembered everything I thought I did. I still groan when a past chapter comes up - but I do enjoy Luc so that’s helps!

Reread - loving it just as much the second time!

Shoo this book is heavy. It’s an enjoyable story but it’s a slow read. I’m enjoying the setting, but that’s definitely a huge part of what makes this a heavy book!

I have not had time to really dive into this! Every time I pick it up I’m interrupted! But sheesh I’m hooked already. I’m enjoying the dual timeline and can’t wait to see how they come together!

I enjoy the classics! I like how they’re written. It’s so formal and really adds to the mystery in a story like this

Looking at reviews from pretty much everywhere, this book is a love it or hate it situation. Let’s see where I fall on this scale.

This book is heavy but I’m really enjoying it. This is a book I normally would skip because it’s not a fantasy or a funny read. It’s not light. This book has been calling to me for awhile now though and it was available from the library so I went for it. Great choice.

Okay this book is cute. There aren’t too many kids books that I find just adorable like this. I can’t wait to share it with the boys!
