I still love this grumpy little robot though, he’s great. And there was some fun moments with mensah and the rest of the crew too, I love how much he secretly loves them, mensah in particular.

I feel like I wasn’t fully in this one, but that could have been just life stuff not the books fault. I liked it though, it was a bit of a murder mystery story which was cool. Mensah is trying to get the security team to like Murderbot by making them let him help with the case. I feel like it took a little to get going but the ending was pretty cool with him saving the people and the bots helping save him.

The bosses absence. Tilly and Poe’s friendship is still the best, and definitely my favourite part of this series. I really like the way Poe works through the cases. I feel like the hacker cable thing got a bit old but it was scary enough that that’s possible that it was ok. Honestly it probably would work that many times in real life. A good read, enjoyed it better than the last one. Keen for more.

Baddies but the man behind the curtain was a twist. I liked the fbi chick joining for a bit and I liked that there were call backs to the other books with some of the other characters, makes sense it’s not a huge county. I really love Poe’s I really couldn’t give a shit energy. He’s the best, him arresting the mi5 chick was a power move. He’s such a loose cannon, fun to see Tilly try to reign him in in

I jumped back into this series because I really like the characters but I wasn’t sure about the end of 3, I’m glad to say that mostly they didn’t really touch on Poe kind of killing his bosses sister and I’m cool with that. This one felt different to the others, I think it was the many agencies involved, including mi5, and all the army stuff. So much army stuff. I still liked it though. I guessed one of the

fucking long con the whole time was brilliant! Him secretly being a noble himself and cousin to the Queen was awesome! Am keen to read more to see where it goes, I feel like the politics between the countries will become really important.

of the gods to each other, very much reminded me of the Greek mythology creation stories. I also liked how Gen fully understood that gaining the gods attention was not a good thing haha. I didn’t really like the Magnus or the others in the troop but I feel like some of them had potential. I thought most of this book was alright but the ending really stepped it up for me, the fact that gen had been playing the

This has been on my tbr list forever and so I finally did it. I enjoyed this one it was pretty easy to read and a fun little adventure. Gen was a cool main character, a talented thief who secretly had brains and was badass with a sword, what’s not to love. He had a bit of a feral cat vibe at times but honestly that fit with his time as a prisoner. I liked the in between chapters where they were telling the stories

when charlotte got attacked. All he really did was air out everyone’s dirty laundry. I don’t think this book blew my mind but I’d read more for the characters.

read more. Him proposing at the end and her saying yes was wild though! She literally didn’t even know his first name and was just like I love him. You’ve literally spoken like 5 times how would you know?!? I would’ve liked to actually see their courtship. Wild that her sister died too! The ending felt very abrupt though and I feel like Pitt didn’t seem to actually solve the case he just happened to be there

It was tricky that it was all from the perspective of charlottes family. I liked reading about the Victorian era, but good lord I think if I had to come back to that time I’d shoot myself. The sexism must truly have just been infuriating, it certainly was for me! Even though he wasn’t actually in it a huge amount I did really like Pitt and I liked the chemistry between him and charlotte, I’d be intrigued to

I read this one on mums recommendation, she said she really loves how far Pitt progresses in his career over the course of the series.I thought this one was interesting in that it was a murder mystery without any chapters from the perspective of the detective, so we really didn’t get to see him working on the case we only found out about how it was progressing from when he’d visit charlotte or question the family

Embodiment of their homes and their seasons. The magical vibes were great. There wasn’t just a lot of wandering about waiting for things to happen. The relationship between the king and Lor was beautiful though. I love that little Lor she’d leaves when he was sad and grew flowers in his hair when he was happy. I liked too that the king was crazy powerful but was also very gentle. His relationship with the

I like this, it was sweet and very magical. I did struggle to finish it though, I feel like this book was very much just vibes, there wasn’t a huge plot to it. I did really love the king though and how much he just loved little Lor. It reminded me a bit of Death and Fox from Masters of Death. The King was very cool and so was the summer wind queen actually. I loved that they were more than just fae, they were the
