Halfway through and I'm still not sure what I'm reading lol

This is so easy to listen to/read. The writing is beautiful. I get the high reviews, and even though I had doubts I would like it, I wanted to give it a shot precisely because of the reviews. I'm so glad I did! Loving it so far.

This is my work-day lunch-time read so I'll finish this Monday lol It's got HP vibes but American and it's just a little gay, which it could be more but that's not the point of this story. Would've made it a tad more interesting and less generic. Loving the art so far, it's a very pretty book.

Just starting my new audiobook and I didn't realize Perdita Weeks, who stars in one of my favorite horror films, As Above, So Below, is the narrator. I'm thrilled! Love her voice, hopefully she's as a good narrator (I have a feeling she will be!)

Pretty freaky but light on story. I love they have the asterisks to explain things a non-Japanese reader might know about. I'm enjoying this so far!

I just have to add a comment saying how fucking dumb this ending is and these people are and it's so incredibly annoying. This was going to be a solid 4 stars but it's like 2 now. I'm so annoyed.

Not terrible. Solid three stars so far but I'm not loving it so much. The deaths are simple, there's little gore... it's mostly internal dialogue and mystery-solving so far. I don't hate that but I wanted a fun slasher lol

This book is tense! I have to take a break haha I think this is going to be better than I expected. I have high hopes for the last 10% at least, especially with Julie's wish. I want a messy ending haha

Yeah, this is super cute but I just don't have the attention span for reading right now. I need to do some multitasking, but I'm already looking forward to reading more of this - for the cheese puns and little Gouda alone ♥

Zooming through this audiobook. It's an easy listen! I think I'm just getting to the point where things start to go weird, which I'm looking forward to.

It's certainly not bad but not sure if it'll hold my attention - it's free on Kindle Unlimited atm though and it's highly recommended so I thought I'd check it out at least. Quite an digestable read so far, I can see how it's easily devoured. I just meant to read the first chapter and wound up 11% in haha

This is so similar to Sinners and I love it because I loved Sinners. I just hope the author's cool with it lol Also reminds me of Lovecraft Country. I'm loving the fantasy element with the southern mythology, it's just so good.

But then I loved Clark's Dead Cat Tail Assassins last year - he's a fantastic writer with a great skill for dialogue and voice. Hoping to finish this tomorrow.
