This is such a strange, unique book.

That first chapter got me.

I absolutely LOVED the first book in this series and I am thrilled to read the second. Thrilled to eventually have it on my shelves to read to my niblings <3 Only 5% in and it feels like I'm back in Hallowell alright! Love, love, love

I really enjoyed the first volume of this book and am glad we get a sequel! BTW, I recommend following the writer/artist on instagram for more fun art! I love this style, it's unusual in comics.

I'm really enjoying the writing in this. It's giving Nine Perfect Strangers with a Slasher vibe and I'm here for it.

Yeah, loving this so far. These books are so good, I'll reread the original trilogy after this I think.

Not bad, just kind of boring to me tbh

Warm by Anne Woods is the first story I've read in this collection that I liked, which this far into it is disappointing...

Very quick and easy read but very tragic and sad as well. I hope there's a somewhat uplifting ending of some kind... so far it's reminding me of The Lamplighter by Crystal J Bell, which I don't mind. That was a good read too, if also extremely tragic.

Wow this just jumps right in. What's the rest of the story going to be then if this starts right from the first page?? Baffling, yet I'm intrigued. Also, just a little annoyed by all the comments on how big he is. I don't think it needs to be established this often lol

I get why this is popular, it's a good story. I love the audiobook narrator as well, really helping me get through the overwrought prose (which is starting to grow on me at this point, I find it charming in the same way I find Emily and Wendell charming)

Some of the stories feel amateurish, but even the competent ones haven't gripped me... don't think I've read a single story I've liked so far?

ok now it's picking up and becoming a bit more fun. I love the faerie stories and everything about them.

Cute but the writing is like flowery academic and it can just be a lot to follow along. Glad I have this as an audiobook, I would take forever to read this just from needing breaks from the language. I don't hate it though, it's just a lot.

Love that this is continuing some of the stories and incidents from the first volume. I like the overall tying together of things with the old god again, very creepy haha

Sad to be finishing this beautifully vibey read soon.
