Rincewind has found out that Twoflower has actually travelled from another continent. Unfortunately, some other people also found out, and they have threatened to kill Rincewind unless he makes sure that Twoflower returns home safely and with a VERY positive view of their city.

Hm... I wonder whose sneakers those are. There's one option that seems to be implied, but there are actually TWO different characters with shoes in that style. It would actually be really interesting if it was the other one!

Grace Lin's story was also really good, but in fairness, I'm kind of biased, because PIRATES! :D

Matt de la Peña wrote the first story in this anthology, and it is definitely FANTASTIC. It's even written in second person, which is a really interesting choice. That's something that doesn't often work, but in this case, it absolutely does!

There is suspense in the story when Soma's best friend repeatedly encourages / pushes her to sign up for the poetry competition. Soma isn't certain she wants to do it, as she's only shared one poem that she has written. It's gotten mostly positive comments, but some critique. This creates uncertainty for the reader as it seems like she'll enter the contest, but since she's a beginner, you don't know how she'll do.

A conflict that Soma faces is that someone has posted a comment on her video that says that her poem isn't very good; the commenter asks "what is it even about?" Soma becomes uncertain about the quality of her work and her ability as a poet, even though all of the other comments up to this point have been positive. Her conflict is internal because she isn't sure whether she should continue posting her work.

Soma is the main character. She is very stubborn. I can tell this because her sister tries to help her and give her advice, and she refuses to accept it.
