So, I'm eighteen years old today. I've been on this website for three years as of last month, and I just want to say: I'm so grateful for all of the people I've managed to meet over the years on this website. Reviewing these past three years has made me into a better writer, a better communicator, and a far more confident person. And it has introduced me to some of my best friends. I love you all. 💜​

okay but THAT REVEAL

my favorite part of this book is when I cameo as “Lise” a character who is mentioned, threatened with death, and never shows up on page. legendary

I wasn't expecting to genuinely enjoy this so much??

it's so funny to me that every piece of media before like, 2000 felt the need to imply that every dysfunctional family is breaking down because The Gender Roles Are Not Enforced

this feels like I should really love it, but I'm honestly lacking any kind of connection to the lead character and some of the dialogue and writing is a little mixed?

the raw energy of the moment where James and Oliver doing R&J when Oliver accidentally skips two lines and says what sounds like a passionate love declaration

this is taking a while to get going, but I’m liking several of the character conflicts set up.

I am still amazed by how many of you cannot understand that no one is requiring you to agree with each other on the quality of books. you can just move on!! scroll down your feed!! live your life!!!

Almost my two year anniversary of being on Goodreads and I just noticed... I'm the 10th best reviewer of the last 12 months. wow. I love you guys <3

this is good so far? not a huge fan of the lead; huge fan of all four other lead characters. there's only one romantic plotline & it's Written For The Gays. beginning was a bit abrupt. world is interesting. this is definitely part of the whole six of crows but not quite as good trend. right now i think this is like... a four? also y'all. this cover.

.....when you guys criticize books for forcing diversity by having like, two side characters of color. do you ever think about the fact that maybe.......... 'those people'......... idk........ exist? and the fact that you view the presence of people of color in literature as "forced" is maybe......... the problem? and influenced by centuries of racialized oppression and colonialism? idk just a thought
