Okay so I hate the "Homeless Eel"-analogy

While the story itself is very dumb, telling my roommate about it is very funny, so I'm gonna see this through to the end.

I get the feeling that anyone who's actually a cartography-enthusiast would lose their marbles while reading/listening to this book.

I should really start checking Reviews before lending Audiobooks from Libby blindly.

So this book is really just "This closeted asshole of a racist person becomes an overtly racist person"?

Not sure why, when I choose an audiobook at random, without knowing anything about it, it's now been the second time the story is about sisters in cult-like circumstances.

Same as with Tress, but this time even more so: I'm kinda annoyed. Because I want to recommend this book to so many people, but their enjoyment will not be the same as mine, simply because they have not read enough about the Cosmere to understand the references to the other planets. But maybe that's not so Bad? Dunno.

I am at a point, where I just don't understand the appeal of Junji Ito anymore.
Got done with the second story and it's just so... bland? Like, I get that this might just be a Way for him to get story ideas out of his system. But it really just is a "now THIS evil thing kills people"-thing.

Kinda love the fact that a single namedrop will not change a fucking thing for people who are new to the Cosmere, but will paint the entire rest of the story in a very specific tone.

Kinda bad at getting into the groove of it, but once I do, I inhale all of the mysterious spooky ghost-shit.

Well, turns out, this is a perfect read for waking up a bit earlier on the weekend and just relaxing with. Very, very cozy so far.

... I have not read even read thirty pages, but I'm already a bit of a mess. Fuck.

Ah yes, I love protagonists who are completely self-absorbed misogynists who think "Ah my wife is depressed. She has nothing to give me"

It's been more than a year or two, since I've read the last volume. But holy shit, reading this feels like spending time with a friend you haven't seen in a while.

You can basically hear the author think to themselves "AH YES THIS IS SO AESTHETIC BUT ALSO ISN'T IT IMMENSELY HOT ASWELL?!" while a bunch of assholes are dancing pseudo-deeply around the concept of a threesome while getting drunk on absinthe.

... Okay, so... from what I have gathered, this story is about 6 asshole wizards.
6 incredibly horny asshole wizards.

Fin is the absolute best character, there are no other correct opinions.

Wow, the main character is so well-rounded! She likes slasher movies, slasher movies AND slasher movies. Would have almost forgotten about that, if she didn't mention it every third sentence.

Also, of course there are elk.

Okay, so I get that there will be a shift at some point, but so far, the main Character is giving "man trying his best to write an edgy teenage girl"-vibes.
