A rainy Sunday afternoon is a great time to re-read my favorite Jane Austen novel!!!

Anxiously awaiting the turn of the page to reveal more of the story of Amisha and what her daughter has been hiding from her own daughter Jaya, all these years.....wonderfully written. I also love all the little stories Amisha tells to Ravi ….

I'm all in for this journey, a recommendation from my mother in law.

My lunch hours this past week have been wonderful. I usually work through lunch but I just have to keep turning the pages to see what is going to happen next. I can just see the actors as I continue the journey of these wonderful characters! I can't wait till A Woman's War arrives on my doorstep!

With every turn of the pages the story of the women and men of Great Paxford gets better and better. I am so pleased to keep going with this wonderful storytelling.

This book was just what I needed to continue my Home Fires journey.

I can't say how tickled I am that the creator of this wonderful TV Series (which was cancelled at the end of season 2 with a major cliffhanger) decided to continue the story in the form of a novel! Being with these characters again in written form is just what I needed to continue their journey with them during WWII. Loving this, quick and easy read. The writing is great. Love it!

I love there is this novel to continue this excellent tv series. The author continues with the fantastic characters and WW2 storyline with decent writing! Already pre ordered the next novel in the series due out in November! Back in the 80s there was a tv series I enjoyed called Home front set in America during WW2. It was cancelled after a couple seasons and I always wished for a follow-up novel.
