I'd like to, like the character of Milla however, she's too fickle. She's not trusting of her own fiancee. She wants a man she barely knows and if it wasn't for the story of her grandmother in her younger days, I'd be so annoyed with this novel but, I really want to see what happened to her grandmother and why her own mother had no relationship with her!!!!

Count Rostov, such an endearing character.

A friend of mine sent this one to me at the end of last summer. She could not get into it and said you may have better luck. At the time, I was not ready for it. So I tabled it for a while. This is my second attempt. I am just going to see how it goes. I have heard such wonderful things about this one so I am determined. Happy Reading!

These characters and their story lines are so beloved to me. Oh, how I wish this series would be picked up on tv again!!
