Really, REALLY, hoping to push through this one today.
It's not really for me. I understand it's good. Turton's writing, you can't fault it, I think for people who enjoy more Literary Sci-Fi, or Mysteries, it may work better. It's a bit too speculative and obscure for my tastes...

I love a train mystery -- decided to go with the audiobook, as the narration is fantastic and I feel like the way these are told really translates well to audio!

So many connections -- it's crazy and those birds. Yikes.
I'm petrified of birds. I like looking at them from a distance, but this would freak me the heck out!

I am wondering if Jessica's cousin, Emma, is the same cousin that appeared in an episode of the show, Season 1, I believe. She was also played by Angela Lansbury, so they did split screen the whole time 😝🤣 but she was a red-headed theater actress from London, so guessing this isn't a coincidence!

An engaging twist to a classic murder mystery feel.

I love what Faraday is up to.
He just got to the library to research the writings of the first Scythes. This mention of the city of Nod definitely has me intrigued!

This is so fun. I'm really enjoying the drama and mystery of it.
It's very readable as well. I feel like Grey's writing is just so easy to get into and I'm excited to finish this one up tomorrow!

I hope so, because I want to continue on.
I'm enjoying Arby and Val a lot and I think as a series goes on, I would just become more attached to them. There's a certain level of chemistry that I would like to see blossom.

I woke up in a Cozy mood, and this is fitting the bill nicely!

Even though this took me a minute to get used to the writing style, I am enjoying the atmospheric setting and the characters have me intrigued. I can't wait to get further into this one!
