Part of me, and unfortunately it's a large part of me, feels like this is NEVER GOING TO ENDDDDDDD!

Ilie is definitely a vampire, right? I mean who else would drive a supercar through the snow, but someone who isn't afraid to die because they're undead already!?

I have no clue what is happening here. This is very strange. It's not that I'm not enjoying it, it has my attention, I just feel like content-wise, maybe it's not necessarily a good fit for me? IDK -- Interested to get farther tomorrow and see if I can figure it out.

I'm LOVING this so far.
I'm so interested to find out what really happened in the woods 5-years ago, what was the fate of Mallory, and why has something come back now to haunt Fern & Jaq???

Still getting to know these characters.
Thought that trip home from the bar wasn't going to end well, but everything seems fine so far.

There's definitely a lot of unique and intriguing concepts in this one. One of the perspectives is really working for me, the other, not so much right now.

Poor Mindy. Sure, she was a bitch, but wow, what a way to go. So, like The Store compelled her to do that? I think so, but why?

Also, there's something a little Punk Floyd's The Wall about this that I'm liking quite a bit.

This is interesting. I am enjoying this, it's more straight mystery than the cozy I was expecting, but I don't mind. It does still have some cozy elements, I would just say the tone overall is more like The Thursday Murder Club than the Nosey Parker Mystery series, just as examples. Still enjoying it though, not sure why the overall rating is so low...

Yeah, I am surprised Bill is caving so easily on The Store. Even letting his daughter work there!?

That police guy, the one who was asking her questions in hospital. He was soooo frustrating, like acting like it would be impossible for some strange man you had only met once to become fixated on a little girl. Like, dude, do you live in the world!? That's certainly no unbelievable. If this lady was gaslit anymore, she'd explode.

Well, that answers all that, but what's going to happen now? Why so much book left?

This lady's husband is pissing me off so much. That scene at the cafe?! Completely gaslighting her over the safety of that daughter?! What d-bag.

I love that Ally made a Murder Board on the back of a painting in her kitchen. That's brilliant. No one will find it that way!

Also, glad she told the Earl in no uncertain terms, she's not interested 😄😂

Wow, this is actually pretty brilliant in its reinterpretation of Dracula. White's ideas make a lot of sense actually. I may never read the original source materials the same way again.

This is SUCH a disturbing set-up. It's so chilling and realistic. I think this is probably 80% of women's worst nightmare.
