I'm actually not sure how this is going to wrap up?
I'm not even sure what ultimate conclusion I'm hoping for, I mean besides Hester and Cordelia living happily ever after...

This is great. I love the original source material and this is definitely making me want to read it again. It has been 4-years, I think, since I last read Macbeth. Thete could be a reread in the very near future!

I'm so ready for this to be over, NGL.
There's only so many ways you can read about these people having sex before it starts to get really repetitive.
I feel like they've already had the conversation they desperately needed to have, so now it's just dragging.
Additionally, Theo is starting to piss me off in her treatment of Kit.
I think I would be happier if they end up as just friends...

Unsurprisingly, I'm obsessed with this.
I love Hester so, so much. She's a gem.
There's so much that has happened and I feel completely transported when I am listening to this!

How is there this much of the book left?
Hahaha -- I feel like everything is resolved. Don't tell me dreaded miscommunication is coming. This couple has already had so much.

Ughhhh, I don't want this to end, because I guess when this is over...it's over, right? This is it? That makes me so sad.

I have loved the perspectives covered in this. I've like having the before, after, and even a little of the during of this overall story built out even more through these short stories.

The Mortal Canvas -- too bad this story had to follow The Martian Minute, because that one was sooo good. Nothing is going to compare.

A Martian Minute. This story alone is worth reading this forth. Not like it is going to blow your hair back like the original trilogy, but for long-time fans of the series, it offers incredible insight into one of the biggest villains!

It's just so damn good.
And I love how King essentially makes himself Carrie's former English teacher. Mr. Edwin King, indeed 💚😉

I like a lot of what Priest has developed here.
It is hard to track at times, there's a lot happening all at once, but I've particularly enjoyed Melissa and Leo working together.
I also like the blend of sort of occult elements with an override cosmic horror sort of feel. It's interesting...

Yep, it's true. Margaret White is one of the most heinous villains King has ever created.

Faraday is back in the mix and he knows Anastasia is still alive! That shall give him new purpose! I am expecting him to rise from the ashes like a phoenix and take Goddard down!!

This last section of Anastasia 's announcements, I am so into it. There's so many nods there to things that have happened in American history. This book is really quite an accomplishment, but really, the whole series is. I love the political aspects, as well as the exploration of religion, philosophy and history, or even hidden history 💙

This is such a comfort read for those of us who carry Halloween in our hearts all year round...

I'm liking this slow burn. I have some theories about what is going on under the surface, but only time will tell.
