What a complete journey John Smith has been on. At the start, you never would have guessed this is where he would end up. It makes me sad for him and for all who love him, but he's doing what he thinks is right.

This has definitely taken some unexpected turns...

I did a haunted walking tour of Portsmouth a few years ago and some of the stories the kids were telling were so similar to the ones we heard on that tour...the musical hall, etc...did J.D. Barker take the same tour as me? LOL

There are definitely interesting aspects to this mystery, however the idea of this near-future becoming a reality are depressing AF.

This is such a great mystery. This detective duo is definitely one of my new faves. I need this to be a series!!

I can't believe the new detective isn't at least curious about the possible connection between Max's disappearance and now his best friend's? Like...she thinks it's just coincidence? WTF, do your job...

I do like Fiona though...hope she gets off the island someday...
