Finally got my hands on an affordable copy of this book ($0.98 at the local thrift store) and can hunker down with it.
*prepares to take copious amounts of notes*

Listen. I miss Italy. I want to move to Italy. I am learning Italian. I think this book is set to destroy me.

Anyways, reading it to finish a book for the library’s summer reading program. Here goes nothing.

Aside from being deathly afraid of fish—I must support one of my most impactful teachers in this endeavor! Here goes nothing.

My selection for the adult summer reading program’s “banned or challenged book” though my graphic novel selection (Maus) and my “book you’ve always wanted to read” selection (Brave New World) have also been banned and challenged.

Reading this for the “banned or challenged” category for my local library’s adult summer reading program. It might also fit the bill of “a book you’ve always wanted to read” but we’ll see.
