Just finished watching the film of The Men Who Stare At Goats and immediately missed Ronson’s writing style and humor. Let’s dig in to another Ronson work!

Just over 50 pages to wrap this up?!? I don’t know how Howey is going to do it.

Hope Howey isn’t just randomly getting my hopes up that a certain character (Lukas) is actually doing quite well thanks to Anna.

Hard to want to finish when I think something very major happened to my favorite character.

Only 969 pages and 10 more books to go in the series (not that I’m counting)

So ridiculously asinine. Stupidly amazing. Love this book!

Trying this again. I wanted to donate this one but for some reason I want to try it again. Let’s see if I can either tough it out or DNF it for good.

After realizing I didn’t have any copies of this in my library I made sure to research what was the most preferable translation and ended up with this one. Here’s to 1300 more pages!

Listen. It’s a classic. AND it starts off so beautifully. Also the “H” in D. H. Lawrence stands for “Herbert” and it was first published in Italy? Sounds like a home run.
