I've waited so long for this book I'm nervous what if it's bad haha

reading good sci-fi always feels like coming home after a hard day

I don't want this to end

I'm reading this much slower than I'd like BUT still so far very good!!

I truly need this as a Netflix movie okay

so far this is good enough to break me into my 2020 reading streak after an unexpected block that started in the first wee hours of this year

so far this is one of the most visually-immersive written books I've read in a while . . .

I want this as a movie, please

well so far this is delightful

re-reading because I finally got my hands on Come Tumbling Down so a re-read is basically required action??

don't question me :P

k so far this isn't as great as I thought it would be

but there are dragon shapeshifters so I am mostly satisfied for now

well every year I've started off by reading this series has been great so here I go again diving into 2020 with this masterpiece

it's fun but tbh I wasn't expecting this many POV's??

this is much more gory than I expected BUT I absolutely love this

tho this winged night dude is giving me Rhys vibes and I DO NOT LIKE

The Rise of Skywalker just really flipped off my entire childhood so carelessly, didn't it? Can't believe I'm saying this BUT there was too much nostalgia in it mmkay

also that ending didn't have to happen

tbh my review of Frozen 2 is that the creators wrote it for fanfic writers because there are just SO many open doors to fall into post-canon works ahahaha

oof this is beautiful and powerful

it's not terrible, it's mildly interesting, but the writing style and shaky POV voice is bothersome??

nvm it's getting a bit better

but there just still too many--in my opinion--sentences that use dashes

yikes already the writing style is turning me off??

just realized Queen of Nothing is literally right around the corner so here I go again, diving into a reread of this cruel, lovely world

I would LOVE to change my profile picture to a new Star Wars character whose cuteness has overtaken my brain

but at the sake of spoilers, I shall wait until The Mandalorian episodes have all dropped haha

it's painful to see Weyth oblivious to his behavior, especially when EVERYONE he knows is telling him it's too much

it's getting a little better but I am still hoping for either a death or massive personality overhaul for Weyth

why does there have to be this crap romance? Why can't it just be Yenni learning a new culture, struggling with the bias against her own culture, and being badass??

haven't DNF'd a book this early

but there's always a first time for everything, right??

and yet . . . I'm already in the mud so surely it's fine if I wade in a little further to just see HOW bad this can get???

if only Weyth wasn't in here than I wouldn't be annoyed but . . . I GREATLY DISKLIKE FINDING SUCH BLATANT TOXIC MASCULINITY IN THIS BOOK like nope don't like that
