It's a lighthearted read; easy to jump into, which I've needed this week. Reading sad books isn't working for me right now.

Still not sure... if this is a ghost story. It isn't clear.

Yeah, it's good. I like her. I like him. I like their dynamic. I like that she's mean and assertive around him and that he's sensitive and that he can't do the driving. That they've kind of switched roles as boy and girl.

Okay, look. So far, I kind of have a problem with the way this girl thinks about suicide. Like, basically, these kids are making fun of me, but it doesn't matter cause I'm going to kill myself in a few weeks. My mom prefers my little sister over me, but it's okay because I'm going to kill myself in a few weeks. It's annoying. But despite that, I think I like this girl. Aysel.

*spoilers* I'm at 88 percent, so nearly finished, but at this moment I'm kind of wishing the book had ended when she found... Finch. Kind of gruesome, but it would have been so impactful. And now I'm having to deal with this greiving girl who I now realize is kind of boring. But let me go ahead finish.

Interesting start. In your face and kind of fast-paced. I just fear it'll be like "It's kind of funny story" where the writing is mostly wrapped up in their illnesses--which, I get it, but that can get tedious and boring. But only 8% in and it's promising. It's very promising

Okay, I'm crying... but I still have many issues with this book! But yeah, it got to me.

Less painful now, but still very tiresome. I feel like I've read this before, and that I might know what happens, but also I can't access that memory. Maybe I'll skip past the excessive flowery language and past the dead celebratory bios to get to the meat of the ACTUAL story. My god, this book is frustrating.

This book is sort of painful--not in a good way. I feel like I'm ready a history of rock book and I didn't sign up for this shit. I don't care about Judy Garland's life story. I want to stop reading this, but I think I'll power through just to know if it is always this bad.

Okay. I see a little bit of what other people are talking about lol. Just hit ridiculous. But I'm still determined to like it, damn it!

First impression: I don't want to stop reading. It has such good flow, I don't know how to stop. I love the writing and I actually really like Micah, unlike most reviewers. So far, I am intrigued and am glad I gave it a chance despite the reviews. Can't always trust other people's opinion to know what you'll end up liking!

Basically, can't wait to finish it so I can review it before I forget everything that happens again.

Okay, it's good. But...

This book is good, I guess. I think I read it before, but I don't remember it at all. Umm sometimes the language is unrealistic. Who talks like that? But, I've still got a ways to go...

getting better and easier to read/bare

took forever to get interesting. now it is plateauing again.

Short hiatus, but I'm determined to finish this book. I got bored with the idea of the book, but it probably gets better. Right? I mean, it has a sequel and a movie based on it. That means it has to be good, right?

Pretty interesting so far, but there is this one big mistake: wayyyy too much detail about the workings of Facebook. It's okay for now, but if this were about Myspace, I would be reminded of how out of date the book is.

I have picked a junior level book. Oh no. I have so many criticisms, but maybe they're too harsh for the level.... I might feel ashamed to even put in effort to finish this book. I don't like it. But it is super junior.

I'm having a REALLY hard time getting through this book. I don't know if it's because I'm in a weird place in life or if this book is just bad, but I don't want to quit. I want to finish it so that I can give it a one star rating.
