Honestly I was getting a bit bored of the new characters. I like Hannah and Nik very much but I miss Ezra and Kady. And AIDAN. Because whatever that thing is in the black page, I don't see how it's interesting to have it. The whole dynamic of the first book that I loved so much doesn't work here.

I'm still amazed to see Mare has spent more than half of the book as Maven's prisoner, and at how her character development is actually very relatable. I'm also very amazed at how hard i fall in love with Mare Barrow deeper and deeper with each book.
