This is probably my final update for this book. I have an hour-long stint at the laundromat here in just a bit and this is the BEST reason I have not to talk to people. I'm gonna finish this book in 24 hours if it kills me.

Even after all Harry's been through, I still think Thomas is the most broken character in this series. I'd wanna hug him, no matter what the cost.

Molly's pretty beaten up too. I've said some bad things about her in the past.

This series is the best of the best at pointing out that sometimes good guys have to do evil things.

In all seriousness, this is shaping up to dethrone Dead Beat as my favorite book of the series.
And it had ZOMBIES, people.

This is the most mobile Bob has been since Dead Beat. I approve highly.

This Harry is like a cross between bursting-into-tears Harry from all the way back in Fool Moon, and snap-you-neck-if-you-look-at-me-the-wrong-way Harry from Turn Coat.
I also approve highly.

I do really love Dashner's work. I'd forgotten how much I admired it.
He is DA KING of the action scene. Chaos is his specialty.

Wowzers is it obvious it's been over a year since I read The Eye Of Minds.

I didn't *love* The Eye Of Minds, but I enjoyed it just fine, and I was able to get this out from my library.

Holy shit is it morning?

It honestly took me until right this freaking second to realize this is a retelling of Beauty and The Beast -_-
Welp. So there's my blondemoment for the day.

I freakin' HATED that story as a kid and I still don't like it.
I sincerely hope the term 'retelling' is being used loosely here.

All that being said, I'm enjoying the book.

Okay, this has my interest. The fantasy world seems pretty awesome, and I already like the MC well enough.

High high HIGH hopes for this one though so... *crosses fingers*

There's something very... I don't know, comforting about this writing.
The story of Fahrenheit 451 was so sudden, right from the first page there was something going on, but this feels so easygoing compared to that.
Wish I'd read this back in the summer. These descriptions are making me loathe the currently 19 degree temperature more than I already did.
