I feel like talking to my mom is like a little mini therapy session. She is constantly pressuring me to talk in great detail about my feelings even after I share the most mundane information. If I tell her about what I ate for breakfast, she wants me to go into some in-depth discussion on how it made me feel. I don't know Mom, full?

"I have to admit, Brown Eyed Girl is a very recent addition to my all-time top five." He winks at me before heading back up to the front.

OMG. Took me a second but the I got it. IT'S SO DAMN CUTE I CAN'T HANDLE IT.

I find myself smiling at him for real this time. His ridiculous enthusiasm for painting a pot is charming in a dorky sort of way.
I follow Beck and Olivia into the building, and Holden holds open the door.
"By the way," he whispers. "I knew it."
"Knew what?"
"That your smile would be worth the wait."

SO. DAMN. CUTE.

This is another short book so we'll see how the author handles the time frame. I have a feeling it's going to be a cute kind of romance, which I'm totally chill with. Let's see if I'm right.

Having a seriously hard time choosing my next read. Mom chose this one for me, so I'm going for it. And I'm off!

This book is scorching hot, holy shit. I was not expecting this.

This is why I kinda really don't like such short books. Everything moves so fast and you just miss so much stuff. This would be perfect if given more time.

While it might sound ridiculous, I'm always hesitant about buying ridiculously short books (200 pages or less) on my Kindle, even for 99c. BUT this one intrigued me so I did it, and I'm loving it so far. It IS a little fast-paced, though. We'll see how it works out. Merry Christmas, everyone!! (:
