The game wasn't what I thought it was. Still not good, but this is much easier to stomach than it could have been. Plus, Grayson's being really cute now. Progress.

This is hard. Maybe it's also this sort of insta-love I'm feeling. It's just not working right now. And yet I can't stop reading?? I'll never understand.

I think knowing what I know about Grayson is making it really hard to see stuff he says/does as cute and not some game. I really hope I can get past this.

Yeah, definitely gonna spend some time being pissed off given this stupid little game these douche nozzles play. Especially seeing it from one of their POVs. Whatever. Hopefully the humor and whatever else will outweigh that.

This book is only 276 pages but I want GR to say I'm finished.

I'm a puddle of goo, an emotional wreck, whatever it is. I am so freaking pleased with that ending, I don't know why but I wasn't expecting that in particular AND IT WAS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK. GOOD GOD.

I'm such a sucker for a broken hero, and Nathan Everets is definitely one. Wiping away the many tears before diving back in. I've really missed my contemporary YA.

Putting this down for the night. I have homework, but also, the story's a bit heavy for me at the moment. I love books centered on grief, but sometimes, they take a hell of a lot out of me. I need a break.

Started this the other day. It's so good. I love the unique writing style, and man, have I missed YA lit.

And I'm done, just like that. This is why I don't read while I've got college going on.

For the record, I was supposed to catch up on sleep this weekend. But David and Evelyn forbade it. This book swallowed me whole and now here I am, going on 5am, and I'm exhausted. Sigh.

BUT I'm in love, too, so it's okay. As I always say, book feels are good feels.

Finally got this in the mail yesterday (thanks, Mom!) and started it last night. As expected, I'm deeply invested already, and for real in love. I'm giddy with the anticipation of what's to come. I predict late reading this weekend. Squee!

Fuck. I love unique, original novels so goddamn much. Especially when they come from deep places. What a story.

I'm wondering if the next part of the conflict is gonna end up being a parallel and now I'm really hoping it is because I love parallels. Also, this is such a unique, beautiful story. I love it so much.
