About time I got to another classic.

Leslie Charteris (writer of the Simon Templer books) boards the Hindenburg on it's ill fated final voyage and a murder occurs on-board. Sounds very intriguing, so time to take a quick break from SF & fantasy.

Looking forward to the ending and hoping there is a twist in it.

Determined to push through to the end with this one. Hope it has a good ending but I am not expecting much.

Still enjoying this. The pace has settled down into a more meaningfully storyline now... I think.

No more No-Ships... No more golas. Nothing new in this book, just endless repetition of the same old nonsense.

#1 was great. #2 seemed to go nowhere except for some world building. I guess at that point he knew he was going to write more.

Only 100 pages left of the 11 book series. Will be sad when I finish it.

After reading Hunters of Dune I feel obligated to read the second part of what Frank Herbert outlined as the conclusion to the saga. Listening to the audio book as I know I would never get through reading this otherwise. So far, about as bad as I expected.

As this is the last book in the series I am taking my time to savor the last part of the epic story.

I'm glad I am listening to this on audiobook. Reading it would be quite hard going.

3/4 of the way through and there was a plot twist I hadn't seen coming :)

Started to browse the intro of this book and before I knew it 100 pages had gone by :)

Almost half way through and it's the same basic message of 'the church is evil'. Pure fantasy though as not one of the priests is a pedophile:)

The final book in the main 11 book Sword of Truth series :)

Glad I am listening to this on audio and not reading it. Not much has happened so far but the promise of good stuff to come always keeps me going in this series.

Finding this fascinating and cannot wait to see how it all turns out in the end.

Struggle.....

Another on my top 100 SF/Fantasy books. So far I am liking it a lot.

Pretty bad. Defiantly a 'New York Times Best Seller' red tag on this one!

This book gets better as it goes along but I have a feeling the ending is going to be rushed.

This reminds me of why I don't read police procedural dramas by New York Times bestsellers. Nothing very original here, same old tired cliches and storyline.

Never read anything by James Patterson so I thought would try one just to see what they are like.

Peoples suggestions about starting this book half way seem well founded. I'm on book 3 and things are now beginning to happen.

I like the premise and story so far, but it seems poorly written somehow.

This is proving much more interesting than the previous one in the series.
