Big finale coming up.

After speeding up the Audible narration to 1.25 i'm having a much easier time paying attention.

Not a good start here. I can't stand books where the author has to write a long intro. Saying she doesn't write Science Fiction is almost as dumb as Terry Goodkind saying he doesn't write fantasy.

The audio book is narrated by George Guidall. In my opinion one of the worst readers ever.

This books events all center around a wedding.

Should be finished just in time for the release of the next book in the series on June 30th

The narrator really outdoes himself, doing 5 distinct accents in one conversation. As with the others, Google street view lets you take a look at many of the locations featured in the book. The Green Bridge over Mile End Road is kind of neat.

Wow, events have take a major turn for the worse.

Working through a few short oddities on my Kindle.

After reading an abysmal book for a club I need to read something light. Another book/episode of the 87th precinct works great.

This had a great start, but seems to have got bogged down in the minutia of combat.

If your an old school RPG player you will appreciate the humor in this one.

Girt tale wi' alsooarts o' Yorksha flavor.

The crew are all heading off for adventures on their own. Can't wait to see where this is going.

This is a slow read but I will get through it eventually.

I believe a BBC TV show was made from these Inspector Banks books. On audible this is another one where the British narrator does a really good range of voices and accents.

Not much of an overall plot here, more episodic.

For some reason I am finding this hard to read.

On close inspection I discovered this book has a horrible cover. Nicci is supposed to be very attractive, on the cover she is.. ugggh. I sure wish Keith Parkinson was still alive. He painted great covers for Goodkind's books.
