For some reason it took me a while to get into this one.

Was only going to read the first chapter to get an idea of what it was like and got sucked in.

Done with the first story. I will get back to this book after my vacation.

Might as well finish off the trilogy.

Read through the first two stories in two days:)

A severed human hand left at a bus stop in an airline bag.

These are great quick reads and I seem to fly through them.

Needed something light and quick to read during lunch breaks. 87th Precinct, book 10

ZZzzzzzzz Good ideas but so boring.

The author seems to be playing with our preconceived notions of black/white, good/evil here.

Starting out like a good epic fantasy. Introduce the young main character and his companions.

The story picks up after the long, boring prologue.

Lot's of possible suspects so I have no idea how this is going to end.

As this is so long and action packed it's like watching a trilogy of Die Hard movies back to back.

James Langton reads the audible version and I like he accents much better than the guy who read book 1.

Finished the first novella. A Stephen King prequel to the Gunslinger/Dark Tower series. Giving it a 'meh' rating.

The kindle book only shows location and not page number. I never realized that this was a monster 700+ pages!

As with all books in this series you need to have a nautical dictionary and/or access to Google. Two of the non-nautical words I have never encountered before:
'vatciniation' and
'Heautontimoroumenos'
