Not particulalry keen on this so far... I've read better retellings of Norse myths.

I wish I'd updated my progress on this one, because my Kobo ereader had a malfunction and deleted my 'currently reading' books and I don't know what page I got to.

Finally continued reading this today. What a soap opera! Everything was fine until old William Paston died and then the shit hit the fan as his eldest son John became the head of the family. Now the Duke of Suffolk has been butchered to death by a bunch of sailors for unrelated issues. Good read so far and an easy read too, not dry like some history books.

This book is great fun. you should all read it.

LEAVE ALEX ALONE!!

I mean Felix Castor isn't my boy Alex Verus, but he's a decent, snarkier substitute while I await the delivery of the 7th Verus novel.

I am powering through this series.
