apparently this is actually about the murder of William Hastings not the Princes, which had I bothered to read the back i might have already known. still, I'm in intrigued by the Hastings issue as well being that it happened so suddenly and without his last rites etc.

I'm enjoying it so far. My only issue is the spelling of the place names, because a) I struggle with them, and b) I have to keep going back to the glossary at the front to see what their modern English name is.

progress has been slow of late but I am enjoying it

Oh man is going to take me a while to put a dent in this thing. Possibly this six books in one wasn't the best idea.

Normally I find the first 100 or so pages of a book a bit of a slog to get through but this one was intriguing from the start.

So far I definitely don't think it's as good as C J Sansom's Shardlake novels, but it is definitely intriguing.

I nearly didn't continue past about page 50, but fortunately it did pick up and it's getting more intriguing now the info in the "burnable book" is known.

back to my bb Helikaon for a while until I get back into reading NEW books

Granny is great fun

Forgot about this one. Picked it up again last night. I am enjoying it, but it is sort of heavier than previous fantasy I've read and I pretty much still have no idea what the world is called or any of the characters.

I do like Sir Richard Rich. He's such a slippery, slimy villain.

To the Tower we go... Again.

This is loads better than the previous one in the series! Still have rather a lot to go though

this one already involves brutal murder and the terror if Tudor religion so it's so far more interesting than Heartstone.
