Didn't have anytime to read yesterday (stupid real life).

I'm loving the story. I was really afraid to read this since I hate the circus (animal abuse) but so far, it has been a great story.

Everything about the start was leading me to disappointment but already, the story has surprised me in a good way. I thought it was going to be a simple girl trick boy story but thankfully, Milan looks like she has put more thought into the story.

I haven't read anything since I can't seem to stop watching Deadliest Warrior on Spike tv. I can't believe I'm watching tv over reading a book. WTF! This show is so addictive though. Love the medical, science and history info you get (totally trying to justify my couch potato behavior).

I never read book 1 (I actually stopped reading it, it wasn't holding my interest) but absolutely loved Unlocked (bk 1.5), so I definitely wanted this one.

My friend Tracy swears that I'll love this book. So, because I trust her, I have it on audiobook and I'm listening to it. When Jacob received apples in the fruit salad from the nurse made me almost cry. I have a feeling I'm gonna be shedding lots of tears on this one.

I can't get into this book right now. Which is strange since I went out of my way to purchase it. I just think I need an adult book right now. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, just not the right type of book at this time.

Ok, so I already figured out the family dynamics. I'm guessing Ren will be back in Calla's life in a big way (I don't want to spoil it for those waiting to read it so just trust me). Calla needs to calm her teeth baring, she's like the girl that cried wolf- literally!

I had plenty of time this morning & last night to listen. Alexia is still silly, Husband still on my shitlist, and overall still enjoying the story. It is a bit slow right now but I still love the dialogue.

I don't know what is wrong w/ me. 1st, I really liked book 1 even though it has all the elements I should hate, 2nd, I looked forward to book 2, even though continuing a YA series for me is rare. 3rd, I actually bought this book on the day it came out, which makes me a total fangirl, WTF happened to me? Oh Ms. Cremer, you better not let me down!

I'm really tired of seeing anything to do with A Visit From the Goon Squad. I'm just not going to read it out of spite that it invades my goodreads main page everyday.

I'm enjoying this one. I want my own Ward. He's the type of guy that you just want to go up and give him a big hug. Such an honorable guy.

Ok, so I love the characters. I like the story but I keep getting slightly confused by who's who with the bad guys or if they ARE the bad guys?

Ward so needs a big dose of self confidence. I love how he has no clue he is being seduced.

This entire series is so different. I'm not usually a fan of books that are supposed to be humorous since I have a strange sense of humor. However, I find myself laughing, smiling, and enjoying this book nonstop. Even w/ the lack of a tight plot, the characters are still a story all on their own.

While I wasn't a fan of her music (or her lifestyle), it is still sad- Amy Winehouse dead at 27.

This book is going to really throw a wrench into my plans. I finally started it this morning, and I'm having a hard time stopping. How can you not instantly love Ward? What a likeable character. The story & the history behind Celia is interesting as well. Great start.

Other than not focusing enough on Thea (too many POV), the book is great.

I have nothing but good things to say about this book. It is so much fun.

I haven't started. I hate when I'm not feeling good & can't concentrate on reading. Isn't that what sick time is about?

I love the confusion I see in your eyes when you realize you are happy. I love every muscle and bone in your body, every twist and bend in your soul.

I love you. I love the way you rub the scar on the back of your hand when you're nervous. I love the way you make a sword into a living part of your body. I love the way you burn your eyes into me, as if you're seeing me fresh every time. I love the black streak in you that wants to kill the world, and the soft streak that is sorry afterward. I love the way you laugh, as if you're surprised that you can laugh at all.

This book reminds me of the movie Gladiator.

Great bloody brutal start.

I'm such a cranky book bitch right now. I need to stop reading this book for the time being. If I read one more line of how much he wants her, how good she smells, how hard she makes him, how hard her nips are, how muscular his thighs are, I.WILL.PUKE.

I'm soooo tired of women smelling like roses or lavender even though they clearly should smell like dirt and/or sweat. Is there a magic rose perfume I don't know about where you can smell like roses after sitting all day in a carriage & then walking through dirt and fields of grass?

Real life can kiss my ass as long as I have books like this to make me laugh. Ivy's hats remind me of my mother in law's hats. Try keeping a straight face?
