I very rarely re-read a book. This one is so worth it. I should say the audiobook is so worth it. The audiobook is the best audiobook I've ever listened to and it is really like a production rather than a simple reading of a book.

hmmm...I'm not in love with this book. Maybe I should have read it instead of listened to it. Audiobooks for PNR don't work very often for me. The story is dragging so much.

hmmm.. I like it but boy is the actual storyline slow. You can't go wrong with the characters though especially big bad birdie.

Wow. All I can say is wow. This book was so worth the wait. There is so much going on this one but it is not overwhelming.

Prometheus Books, you have made my day! Two of my most highly anticipated books of the year come to me within 48 hours.. I'm such a happy and grateful girl! I so needed good stuff to happen to me lately since real life has been so sucky!

The audiobook narrator completely nails Trick's personality and really makes her sound like a little sex kitten fairy. It cracks me up since it really sounds like Tricks is talking.

Love the way McDonald writes. It's crazy since she does what I normally hate- alternates chapters with different character's POV. Somehow, the author makes it not only work but it is vital to the telling of the story. Also love how all my favorites are in here- Ril, Mace, Heyyou, Wat (I still love how Wat got his name). Mace scoulding Wat for his midday sex romp was too funny.

OMG I so missed this series. I love Heyyou. I want my own Heyyou. I also love Mace. I also love Wat, and he's not dumb! Just wait Heyyou, he's going to surprise you all! Ok, sorry, I'm a bit enthusiastic about this series.

Listening on my audiobook and loving this one. I love the contrasting personalities between Tiago and Tricks. Tricks drunk in the hotel room was a crack up.

Evy is way too hard in this book. Her "badass bitch" status is one thing but she is so bitter & angry. Because of her anger, it makes her not a likeable character. At one point, I was hoping the goblin would kick her ass. That is when I knew I needed to set the book down.

I've been waiting for this book since March 2010! I was delighted to see it on netgalley & then sad since Dorchester Publishing almost always rejects my requests (except for once). Imagine my surprise when I found out this morning that I was accepted. Of course, I have to read it right away!

Listening on audiobook. The narrator is really good. The story just getting started.

Thank the book gods for Older Jacob, Walter, Camel, Rosie, Rosemary, and even Barbara, because otherwise, I would have stopped reading (ok listening) to this book. Marlena and August are perfect for each other- one has no personality, and the other- unpredictable personality.

Oh Ee, why are you barely known (in fact, you might think "Oh Ee" is me crying out in pain but "Ee" is the author's last name) but your book is so much better than all the other dystopian novels I read this year? Unless the 2nd half is going to sink faster than the Titanic (yes..I get my cheesy point), this book will definitely be a favorite of mine!

Why does Jacob like Marlena (besides the obvious lust)? She has showed absolutely no personality. Jacob's infatuation is annoying since Marlena has done nothing to deserve it. I don't get it.

This is NOT a cheesy YA paranormal. It is a dark, post-apocalyptic survival story that just happens to have a 17 year old main character. It is wonderful so far. Great writing.

Excellent so far. I love how dark, and gritty the post-apocalyptic world is.

There is more personality in Rosie than in Marlena. At what point does Marlena become a likeable character?

Even with the high ratins, and great reviews, I wasn't too eager to read this one. It's just, well, it is YA angel book, how good can it be? So, I read the first chapter (I was curious) & loved it! So, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised!

Holy smokes... I may need to take my Kindle in for repair, it was clearly steaming when I was reading this book (don't kill me for my cheesiness). Seriously, that was one of the hottest kissing scenes EVER! wow.

I absolutely adore Sir Mark. He never wanted to be what everyone else has made him, he just wants someone to see him as a real man.

I did have time to listen to my audiobook. So many nursing homes are horrible and this reminds me of that fact. I love old jacob, he reminds me of Carl Fredricksen (the old man) from the movie Up. Young Jacob still needs to find his place (and his personality) within the circus. Kinko's purple headed penis...not a good image for my brain!
