Very few authors interest me to the point where I can read more than three books in a row before switching authors at least for a book, but this makes eight in a row and they’re still hard to put down.

New series new character just as hard to put down as the last.

When this author gets going he gets going. This book is hard to put down:

These characters are really growing on me as is the dialogue. I’m glad there are five books in this series.

It’s still good. The characters are growing on me a bit. The colors of magic and the way it works reminds a bit of Green Lantern, which is a good thing.

Good so far. The dialogue is a little sketchy at times, but the world building and fantasy magic structure is excellent.

My McMahon binge has officially begun.

After heavy reads by Stephen King and Cormac McCarthy this is just about right.

I read this book referenced in Stephen King’s Holly and thought why not. Wow. I am glad I did.

It’s picking right up for on where the last book left off. Fast paced, tightly plotted good characters.

This is really good. I haven't read any of this author's YA material, but these characters are solid.

For some reason I am on a Sigma Force binge.

This second book is good. Now I wish I hadn’t waited so long to start it.

It’s been a long time since I have read Reynolds-definitely one of my favorite authors.

It slowed down a bit and became almost stream of consciousness stuff, but the pace is moving right along again.

Even more brutal than the last book in the series.

So far so good. It felt a little slow going, but full speed ahead now. My favorite storyline is Ringil chasing down Sherin.

This author is good at setting, mood and atmosphere.

This series is building to an excellent finale.

Excellent follow up to the first book. It hasn’t missed a beat.

Wow. Amazing.

I haven’t read grimdark in awhile Abercrombie is good.

Great pace so far.
