i'm about half way through and i'm not liking the fact that *spoiler* what makes a certain engagement end wasn't the hero breaking it off SIGHS

Should I grab House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas or Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare next? Why, oh why, are my favorite YA authors releasing their new books at the same time haha!

So many books, so little time!

The hero just called the heroine a bitch and literally pushed her, and admitted that if he had pushed her just a little harder she could've gotten seriously injured. This isn't alpha male, this is straight up abuse and I'm upset about it

Just finished reading Birthday by Meredith Russo and FINALLY felt the emotions I needed after being in a slump these past months. I ugly cried way too many times and I'm not even gonna blame it on my being on my period because this book made me feel everything and then a little something more. GO READ IT!

p.s. will be campaigning for book two because I need more of Eric and Morgan in my life, that's all for now!

Can't believe it has taken me this long to start this book, especially considering what a Harry Potter fanatic I am. I think the mixed reviews turned me off for so long, and while I might end up sharing those opinions, it felt wrong to not give this a chance first and form my own. Here's to hoping for the best!

this could be SO good because it's got so many aspects i love in a story but i'm just not feeling how fast the main characters move? we're just right off the bat given these forbidden feelings, I want the slow burn that LED to these feelings, to help us understand them, to get attached to the romance and characters. it's okay so far but nothing special so far

this book is frustrating me so far. Ash keeps pushing Meghan away while constantly thinking about Ariella while also claiming to be in love with Meghan. This isn't the romance I was expecting from book two.

Just starting World After right now, and I'm super nervous because I know the hero and heroine don't have contact til 70% in. This is scary for me. Wish me luck lol!

I used to love Adrian so much and I still do in some ways but I'm also getting a little tired of his immature ways he acts like a 4 year old sometimes. Not to mention I'm still mad at him for kissing Nina in the last book which Sydney still doesn't know about it. That was technically cheating so yeah, he needs to make amends.

Remembering why I didn't like this book at all, Dex is a bastard playing with Perry's feelings like he is. :/

So I'm assuming like half of this book takes place in one night? Kinda cool, I'm enjoying it so far! So much different from the sad tone of The Fault In Our Stars!

Sigh, I'm not enjoying this book very much. Don't kill me for saying that, I just can't get into it. Not a fan of this quick mashup between Ziri and Liraz. Ziri was in love with Karou and now all of a sudden Z/L are in love and their souls belong to each other? WHAT?!

Hmmm quite disappointed with this one so far. It's not BAD, it's just so-so. I want more romance. Why set this book up as a romance only to turn it into more of a fantasy war novel? There's little to no romance and I picked this book up in the mood for a romance because that's what it was advertised as, especially in the first book. Now, it's veered off into tons of side characters that I don't really care about!
