Page 27 of 417/422 Ch. 3 - Well, that was an opening. I'm only stopping because my eyes are tired. The first chapters had me checking the cover, very contemporary.

Ch. 28 - This is surprisingly very good although I'll admit if it doesn't end the way I want it to I will be very upset.

Ch. 17 - Honestly, I'm mad at Eliza too. I don't know how to fix this. I'm hoping it's undone somehow.

4:18:04 Ch. 17 Grace - Well this has gotten interesting, but I'm still irritated by the format. It also is starting to veer near predictable.

3:07:52 Ch. 13 Kira - I hate the chapter endings! Another mild annoyance is this book is set in Maine but all the guys have Boston accents.

Page 11 of 63 Ch. 2 - I don't know why I always end up starting books like these at night. I'm going to have to push this one back for daylight hours.

1:54:06 Ch. 8 Kira - Not much has changed, but I'm in it now. Aden's last chapter sparked my interest.

1:10:49 Ch. 6 Grace - I am not sure if I should quit or find out what happened period this book is still slow I can already tell it's gonna be just OK, and it does that annoying thing where every time something really interesting starts to happen they ended the chapter there and you have to wait 2 or 3 chapters to get back to that scene, it's very anticlimactic formula.

Timothy - The story isn't bad but I am not crazy about books about summer plays in beach towns I think this might be my third or fourth one. The characters aren't as interesting as the ones in The Islanders, who are minor characters in this story. I'm thrilled this isn't my first book by Moore, I would have had a different experience if if was.

Page 63 of 324 Amy - Well, this sounds familiar, not my favorite trope. So, glad I read The Islanders first, Joy and crew have already shown up.

Ch. 32 - The story is good I still don't see the connection with the prologue.

PART II New Start - Okay! I think it has my full attention now. Too bad I have to go.

Ch. 10 - So far it's pleasant enough but somehow feels very generic.

Page 44 of 437 Ch. 4 - Not bad. It's very movie-like.

Ch. 29 The Man with the Plan - Ugh! Out of time. I can't wait to finish this book. It is like a good movie with soap opera plots.

Ch. 22 In It for the Bees - This is getting good. Olivia is on my nerves but I like the setting.

8:59:23 Ch. 30 Surprise Visitors This is like the previous book it takes a while to heat up. Unfortunately, it's too choppy for my taste but my son is enjoying it.

Ch. 20 - This is better than the previous book. I don't know if it's the story or the change of coauthor.

3:47:21 Southern Comfort Ch. 4 - 😕 I knew I should have quit this book, this intro makes the first story look good.

1:54:21 Ch. 12 - it's slow but interesting. The dialogue is a little awkward but it works.

4:57:06 Ch. 17 Camilla - I asked my son, "What do you think so far? My son said, "I never lost interest like you." I said, What!?" He replied, "You said it was boring." Honestly, it is a bit slow, the action is just starting to rise and I'm still not sold, nice to know the kid likes it.
