I liked the main characters although I must have missed the point when June stops hating Hale's bones and starts thinking his smile is nice. Dunno. The book kept making me fall asleep.

A story for kids I guess. Now I notice that this was written in 1998 *double checks* yup. Well imo it was already 30 years outdated by then. People on another planet with a top technology of tapes and a top security system based on dogs? Yah, sure. *yawns*
