Pretty good so far. The book is split into two plot lines. One features a diplomatic mission to a neighboring empire that gets caught up in a local rebellion. The second (and so far much less interesting) seems to be a murder mystery back on Manticore. Hopefully the second plot line will end up linked to something more important (and interesting) than it has so far.

It took a little while to set everything up, but events are rapidly developing now!

A number of mysterious things going on.

I remember the first time I read this; it was serialized in Analog magazine back in the 70s.

I seem to have stumbled into a reread of all Heinlein's juviniles.

Off to an interesting start.

I always thought this was one of the best of Heinlein's juveniles.

Some good short stories.

I've been distracted the last few days, so I got off to a slow start on this book. Now its starting to take off, and I'm really enjoying it.

The beginning reminds me a bit of Heinlein's Citizen of the Galaxy.

I've read the books at least a dozen times and listened to the older Audible version more than once. Listening to the book with Andy's narration, though, really feels like a fresh take on the story and I'm loving it!

I've read this book several times already, but with Halloween coming I was in the mood to read something horror related, so I picked this!

I've got a previous Audible version of The Hobbit narrated by Rob Ingles (who does a great job), but it was so fun listening to Andy narrating the book and doing the voices. He definitely did a first rate job.

Unsurprisingly, Andy does a great job on the character voices.

Things finally started to pick up about half way though the book and a lot is happening now.

Just picked up the four new Tolkien books narrated by Andy Serkis. Now I have to "binge listen" to all of them!
