I like the concept of the story, but I'm getting tired of the narrative jumping back and fort 70 years.

I first read this back in the late 70s when it was first published. I ran across a copy and decided to give it a reread. I think it really held up well!

I've just read the prolog, and it's already put me off this book. Without getting specific, it introduces information that has implications to the MC of Weber's Honorverse series that I think are a bad idea and a negative to the whole Honorverse story.

The constant jumping back and forth between multiple POV characters is getting annoying and makes it difficult to keep track of what is happening to who.

I first read this many years ago, and decided I want to reread it this year. I think it really hold up well. The world building, the story and the characters are all still captivating.

Recently picked up the newest edition of this classic anthology. When I first saw all the Forwards and Introductions I was temped to skip past them and jump right into the first story, but I actually found them very interesting reading.

When I was only a couple chapters in I was feeling lost, so I flipped back to the beginning and started again. Things are going much more smoothly now, and Im really enjoying the book.

I was listening to the book on audible. I got up to the 3rd or 4th chapter and I was totally lost on who is who. I'm not sure if it's the format or if I just was not paying enough attention, but I'm going back to the beginning and actually read the book.

Some interesting ideas. I do find it curious that I'm almost a quarter of the way through the book and I still know more of the backstory from the book's synopsis than I do from reading the actual book itself.

Finally started reading this one. Really good so far!

I read the original novel years ago and enjoyed it. I just ran across this graphic adaptation and thought I'd give it a try.

Final book in the series, and I can't wait to see how it ends.
