Reading the eARC version of the book. Pretty good so far!

I'm really enjoying this so far.

Over half way though the book and it seems to have finally finished revisiting things that happened in a previous book, and are started focusing on the main character and story line of this book.

Well, I'm starting to skim through chapters. That's never a good sign.

Some of the "missing moments" from the core Honor Harrington series are interesting, but I hope the focus more on Brandy Bolgeo, the nominal MC of the book, as things progress.

I'm a big fan of both Seanan Mcguire and her October Daye series. I'm not sure about this latest book, though. So far, it just seems like a retelling of the story from last book from a different character's POV.

I like the writing and world building of this book. The only problem I have is that I'm only on the third chapter, and the book has gone through four different POVs already. That's not something I normally enjoy.

Eli and Alex, two of my favorite characters in the series, have made their first appearance.

I'm sure having the main characters named Meg, Peg, and Teg isn't going to be at all confusing.

It's been many years since I first read an old copy of this book from my father's home library. It still seems to hold up, and I'm enjoying it again.

So many people with motive, but who's the real culprit?

When I started reading this book, I thought it was taking a step backward in the protagonist's character arc. There have been a few hints of other plot threads, so I'm waiting to see where they lead.

A slow start, and the "we all hate you for coming to help us" thing is getting really old.

I was put off at first that the main character has changed from the first two books in the series, but I quickly got pulled into his POV, and I'm liking this third book so far.

I've been a fan of the author for several years, but I just started reading her InCrypted series last week. I'm really getting into the universe in this, the second book.

It's been years since I last read this book, so I decided it was time for a reread.

This is a short book, so I jumped on it right away. A dark look at the world of the Japanese magical girls trope.

Off to an interesting start!
