So far kind of boring very little character building. It is taking forever to get to the plot I don't understand what is happening but it is starting to unfold but still mysterious

The opening of the book was way too fast and not enough explanation or building of character. The middle part of the book is sort of dragging and filling in information as it goes

I like the story, I like the multi leveled plot problems. The number of characters and the Swedish names makes it a bit confusing and challenging at times, but overall worth the read

Maybe I've read too many dystopian novels, but this book is predictable, cliched, and very childish.

There just isn't enough information on what is going on with the Republic and the colonies. The latest trend of piecing the reader in as they go is annoying the author should just explain what has happened to the world and should have spent more time building the characters going into the story instead of just letting the reader figure it out and they go. Very annoying and I'm almost halfway into this book

This is a typical start to a typical young adult dystopian adventure. New world new rules many things to learn many characters to describe.

The action and suspense are fair. The annoying thing is the long boring parts in between the peaks of action and drama.

Reasonably good story medium to good tempo. The ending came on too fast and should have been drawn out a little bit more not such a good ending.

I keep waiting for the book to get good. It's just okay so far as a heart warming orphaned story.

Solid story, solid book. The ending should have been drawn out and wrapped up a bit better it was too quick slam bam and Dunn should have been better.

This book tried to do way too much an offer a lot of detail on a bunch of different things out of order and was at times confusing. The actual story was interesting to understand but it was told in such a manner I would never recommend this book to
