still boring and uneventful... let's get on with it

Very slow so far. Tedious read. OK story, but very little is happening.

The story itself wasn't bad. It could use some ironing out and more excitement. The way it was written was frankly quite boring and not enough suspense

Almost halfway through the book and although the story is interesting it is a slow going read with so much unnecessary details. Beginning to build some action and suspense within all this detail.

The story set up is taking a long time get on with the story way too much of the intro and scene setting and character building.

The story was good. It took way too long to get the story out with the way that it was written. The ending was pretty good but it was too fast and should have been told more.

The story is starting to come together. It really needs to get moving I think the story could be good but let's get on with it

I don't really like the PC me in a bit at a time with information coming from the story to help fill in with already happened kind of difficult to understand what's going on

This book takes way too long to get from scene to scene there's way too much detail

The book dragged a little bit in the middle and towards the end. It was not the direction I want to go in but it turned out okay didn't really like the ending was kind of on eventful the payoff was not great for this type of story. Still a good book.

What a good book, just amazing. It's difficult to believe how hard come back can be and the soldiers still survive. Thank goodness for all the air support indirect support etcetera. Very eye opening and interesting. Frustrating about the Pakistani involvement.

Damn, this is a seriously good combat book. This is the best battle I have ever read. Very intense on the edge of my seat can't stop reading.

I like all the different points of view, soldiers in helos, on the ground, and in trucks. Decent war story so far

Heavy on character background. Not too sure why I need this much information.

To really follow this book you would have to construct a time line and make notes and to refer back to it when you needed to. Also there is so many people involved you have to do the same thing with people, make a list of each person and what they did and refer back to it for tim it all makes sense. It would have been nice to have a summary but I suppose it couldn't be done.

Interesting story. Very tricky to comprehend all the different names and what is happening. The author keeps repeating time. Over and over and it is difficult to get a grasp of what is happening and when.
