So far, I do not have any PJO nostalgic feelings. Although, it is still keeping my attention.

Really excited that Rick is adding more modern elements to his characters instead of staying within the lines.

Thank you so much to Rick Riordan for dragging me out of a two month reading slump. Btw, Captain America: Civil War was incredible.

If you have been following me for the past 2 months, you know I have not been able to stick to a book due to college finals coming up and working full time this semester. I have decided that I will not add a book as currently reading until I am fully committed, because I hate to see all these unfinished books in my currently reading section and my goal is to have that list become smaller within the upcoming months.

I've decided to try reading comics or graphic novels with actual books that way I don't get too bored or tired of the book's storyline. And I thought I should try reading something about The Flash since not only do I love the show, but he is my favorite DC Comic hero.

Finally found a book that is gonna stick with me.

Turns out I'm not ready to read a contemporary story right now. I just couldn't find anything in Eleanor and Park to glue me to it in my busy life right now. Between working and college, I need something I know something about already, and I think this one will be able to satisfy me greatly during this time in the semester.

Due to Parenthood, I will be binge watching the rest of Season 4 instead of reading for the rest of the night.

So Slow.

I literally have started three other books on my tbr, read a chapter in each, and none of them seem to be fitting my mood. This book slump is killing me because when I'm not in class or working, I want to read, but I think I may have found the right book to get me out of this slump.

I think I have found myself in a book slump. It's not that I'm not interested in Heir of Fire, ts just I have no motivation to read any books right now because of college, work, netflix, etc. Imma try and fight through it though.

13 pages is the result to today being the Super Bowl, as well as two of my profs scheduling crucial exams tomorrow. I will give no fucks tomorrow and after class I will read hopefully alot more than I did today and prepare for my first day of work Tuesday.

So much happened in these last 50 pages. First, DID THEY, REALLY? They went there, and I am kinda happy about it. Secondly, fuck Nehemia. Third, Chaol just got modern day Chlorofoamed. Holy crap. Didn't want to put it down but gotta get some sleep for my math exam tomorrow morning.

I completely ship Celaena and Chaol together, but I am actually starting to feel bad for how she is starting to pull away and distance herself from Dorian.

Looking forward to reading a big chunk of this tomorrow.

Happy that I chose to start February with such a great book. Not very far through yet, but it has grabbed my attention 10x more than Throne of Glass did. Thankful I gave Sarah J. Maas another chance, I don't want to put this book down at all, but I have class in the morning.

Wondering why I put this down two years ago. Probably due to sports and not having enough time, but damn this book is getting good.
