I love this book so much already. The savagery and sarcasm of Aelin has been elevated and it makes me crack up every time.

Chaol needs to stop being a little bitch.

Manon is still boring in some aspects, but I do enjoy Elide.

Already so many references to events that happened in The Assasin's Blade. Loving this already. However, my only negative comment so far is the ditching of the name Celeana, I feel like that is important to her character development and her name should have stayed like that rather than Aelin.

This novella bindup doesn't even feel like a bunch of novellas to me. I am loving this so far. You can definitely tell Sarah's writing has improved so much since Throne of Glass.

Gonna try and finish this tomorrow if I get my psych data/stats homework completed.

I'm excited to be starting this, as I will be reading the shorter chapters to myself that have less details and less emotional connection, and will be listening to the audiobook chapters that have more pages and more details. I am really excited to read this as I am subscribed to him, I am a current student at Michigan State University, the university that he had graduated from, plus I live 30 min from his MI home.
