Wanted to get more reading done, but a broken laptop, running to the Apple Store, and then Best Buy shortly after consumed my day. So Apple you big, fat, nasty smelling fat bitch….. I hate you.

Anyways, the banter is great. I didn’t quite enjoy the beginning as it dove right in and now the pacing is off. It’s alright so far but the writing style is slightly giving Powerless by LR so not a fan of that.

This book is making me realize….. I’m not a cozy fantasy boi. I like it, but I like my death, magic systems, world building, etc.

Not pulling me in right away like A Novel Love Story, but I am intrigued how this is gonna play out by the end.

Wanted to read more tonight, but I simply cannot read this while so tired.

Okay, Victoria gurllll, I love your writing style. However, pages 82-160 was boring as hell.

It’s good to be back in one of VE’s stories and reading her delicate prose.

Finished my second play through of Hogwarts Legacy, became sad, and just picked up the first book and devoured half of it nearly.

So much has happened in the last 150 pages that I’m so excited to see how this all ends.

Brando is cooking something up for this last chunk to be crazy, I just know it.

My heart is bursting with nostalgia rn. These books are reminding me of simpler times, and the absolute joy it was reading these for the first time.

Also Disney, I will storm your headquarters like January 6th if you do season 2 of PJO dirty.
