Slow and steady wins the race

The graphic audio is mostly good. The sex scenes are hella cringey tho.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this book.

I want a Ford Grant. Where can I get one? Walmart, Target, maybe Amazon?

So far so good. As my first cowboy romance, I’m interested to see how this will differ from the other romances I’ve read.

Such an interesting way to start this book. I’m interested to learn more abut the Green Bone lore as well as the rival gangs.

The last sixty pages have been fueled with great tension, had some really great/cute couple moments, and now a really great conflict to move the plot forward.

I am so glad to be finishing out the year with this one. This book has felt a lot more easier to get through and less sad than Dark Age was.

Lots of driving today means listening to nearly half the book. Good news is tomorrow I’ve got an even longer day so it’s possible I may finish this soon.

Next priority before the end of the year: Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows!

It’s wild to me that I’m about to finish the last Stormlight Archive book (until the second arc in 2030s) tomorrow after the absolute adventure I’ve had with Brandon’s books.

Mistborn Era 1, Mistborn Era 2, and the Stormlight Archive. Journey before fucking destination!

Just sitting here thinking to myself how does one simply craft and visualize this world, the plot, the characters. Like is it giftedness, could it be trauma, like I need to know how this man created this in his head.

Completed day 5, halfway through day 6. Really enjoying Szeth’s chapters. And the interlude chapters of day 5 had me audibly gasping.

Completed days 3&4, halfway through 5. Brandon, stop rationing Jasnah. Give me more Jasnah. I wanna see this bad bitch slice and dice the fused.

Day Two done. WOW, the setup is impeccable. I’m really curious how this is gong to transform as we get closer to day ten.

Starting this book was a bit emotional for me, as Brandon’s books have really allowed me to escape everything in the world and my personal life.

Read to Day One. Starting Day Two tomorrow. This book has the energy of Words of Radiance and fear this will become a contender for favorite book of mine. Brandon is giving everything so far and I’m here for it.

Need a Christmas romance in my life to balance Brandon’s books.

It’s wild to me that I will have read this 1200 pager in 6 days when I finish it tomorrow.

Part 2 Done. I feel like Brandon just planted some seeds and in Part 3 he’s just gonna take a water hose to it and parts 4 and 5 are gonna be all out mayhem.

Lirin is acting like a pageant mother, like let your kid be Kaladin Fucking Stormblessed. Also, Daddy Dalinar could be a little nicer to Adolin. Meanwhile, Shallan and her Dissociative Identity Disorder is starting to run amok. Let’s see where this goes.

Going from Mistborn back into Stormlight is a huge transition writing style wise.

Wow, I can’t wait to be depressed now 😭
