Liking this so far. I can’t lie though, the ADHD “insertions” and dialogue are really cringe and not represented well.

Like Jade City, slowly but surely. These books are best savored and not rushed.

Andy Serkis does the audio and holy shit, opening this book up with Boromir dying got tears in my eyes.

I swear Fonda wrote this series for the gays. Shaw is so c***, Hilo is daddy, and my favorite gay boy Anden is back.

This is like top tier dystopian. I wish there was an adult dystopian book that captured the vibe of this.

What the actual f*** is going on?

This book is unlike any other TJ Klune book I’ve read. From the first page, the story so far gripped me by the throat like Darth Vader using his force choke (and this is fitting since the little girl we are introduced to calls herself Artemis Darth Vader).

The more and more I read about Hobbit nature, I fear I may be one 😅

Rebecca must have seen my review of Iron Flame because she has simply improved every element/issue I had with book 2. Better writing, character development, world building. Let’s see where the rest of this book takes me.
