This chapter really makes you think it puts everything into perspective. Why do we chase money? Life is short, and we seem to store up our treasures here on earth when the man in the story seemed to think he could run his own life storing up things on earth he thought would satisfy him when his friend asked him why he was away from church it wasn't doing anything for him we don't take it with us when we pass on.

This chapter covers Angel Gabriel and how he couldn't understand or couldn't comprehend how God was going to come to earth as a baby and live as a man through the most normal of a young girl. He told Mary God's plan. Not to be afraid that she would call Him Jesus. Christmas in the world has somehow overshadowed what Christmas is really about. The focus of Christmas needs to be put back on the birth of Jesus.

We think we can't give other grace when they come against us. Especially those who don't believe God calls us His children so shouldn't we call those around us brothers and sisters? He forgave us, shouldn't we as well. He gives us grace every morning. We will be surprised who we will see in Heaven. He even gave the thief on the cross grace. We can give others grace and let go of the things we hold in.

A little thoughts for your mind on God. Our greatest need is forgiveness that's why God gave us a Savior. He became like us so we could become like Him. He loves each and every one of us because of who we are. Words of Promise always linger. Seeds are important for our heart coming from God.

We need to focus on what God has already done in our lives. In the physical is how man sees, but what God sees is more than we could ever imagine. God doesn't keep a clock. As much as we can, we should give thanks. Nails didn't hold Him to the cross. Love did. We need to forgive people He did. We need to forget the past He did. He has already given us more than we deserve. We need to start living as He did.

A short story on how we need to respond to The Holy Spirit and not let that one person get out of our speaking to them. This is very important as you never know what can happen to that one person because you didn't talk to them and you may have given them a very ignored answer to faith when The Holy Spirit told you to talk to them.

This is a chapter about really getting back to the value of simple life. The life we lived back then. We laughed, and we joked we were kids we acted as kids did. We are so tight now. This chapter shows how Jesus really was before the miracles before his fame. The wedding he was invited to before he did anything amazing. We need to go back to that. Those days of just having real fun. Jesus did. That's why he attended.

Then there is the story of Moses, a man God used he had a great destiny but was never able to fulfill what he was intended to. This chapter was about him and from birth how he had a great calling on his life from God that He would help Moses to. He was helping him to get ready to help God's people cross to the other side to the promised land from Egypt. If God can do that, He isn't finished with us.

This is the introduction, a short letter and first chapter all in one. The introduction of Max was thinking of us, the readers and believers, the many he has met on his travels, and he sees the people they are but still manage to push forward in life. A short story on pulling up to the piano bench see how God works.

It was James who came walking by after going to the home of the wizard and not getting any answer did he come in direct contact with someone he least expected looking for a wizard after some time to help him he was being tested to see if he would help this man on the road. He passed the test. James asked him his name, he revealed he was the Wizard Xevah. The one he was looking for the entire time. He would help him.

One story Amos wanted to try out was the story of Xevah the Wizard and a young man named James who wanted so badly to become a knight Xevah would help him but when he did he didn't know he was already being tested. Xevah was on the side of the road in disguise, and he looked like a man who needed help he was robbed of everything he had, including his walking stick.

Very short chapter ending that whole scene in King Richards dealing and what he was worried about with not starting wars. It was mostly about Amos and Lisette getting married soon. Richard and Princess Joan had bought them a grand gift as Lissette had lost her inn when she left out of town they bought them a new one for a wedding gift they were so happy that they would be happy there.

In the end this didn't phase Amos he didn't judge her by that story she told him. He asks her if she would like to go to London with him to get married he needed to visit a priest there and he hugged her and kissed her.

Later on Amos finishes the story and Lissette tells him she was avoiding him but she didn't want to tell him why. He tells her there is nothing that she could say that could change his love for her. Her family was different her father was a count and her mother a countess they both end up passing away, and she is left by herself. She had to make it on her own with her inn that was passed down to her by the owner.

The child was very close to death gray pale. What was weird is that the child looked like Duncan he said, "How could it be." He was told this place was a mirror of his world. The entity that pulled Duncan in was named Hyzzat, and he had a queen who lived in a castle carved from the rock it stood on it had seemed who had the young child. Duncan wanted to stay there longer, but he just couldn't he had to get home.

Wow, what a tale Amos tells of a world mirrored of ours in the real world. The character of Duncan who met people spirits who are known as Slivers who are the spirits you see at the corner of your eye. He gets pulled into their world he was to help a young child live as he was dying he ended up staying a week and didn't know it was so long but he had some of his life force pulled out of him into the young child.

The King was telling Amos about his cloak and how it smelled of his journey he had a box for him he opened it up it was a brand new one he had made for him. Later on, he had given Amos and Lisette a tour of the castle and the castle grounds outside in the gardens and the area called the Round Table just like King Arthur's except there was no table it was an outdoor tournament area he was having it fixed for more.

Almost and Lissette and the other who traveled with them to go see King Richard finally arrived he had been in a weird mood, not himself. When they returned to see him, his spirits perked up. Amos had told him about the healer that died that he had brought some vials of the solution he wanted. He took a sip of one and had more for him he was curious of how many he had 8 altogether, he said. He was now himself.

The journey brings them to camp out for the night they get a bite to eat after Amos reads a letter from the earl Aubrey DeVere who informed him all that was going on in the castle and about what King Richard is up to how he has placed many people into positions that work for him as he is not even 21 yet. Amos agreed with the decisions, and then he let's Lissette read it she knows she will be taken care of by Amos.

Wow does Amos have a big plan after Lissette the Inn Keeper wanted to get away from the place because Master Plinchette wanted to marry her and now they were betrothed and she had said she was betrothed to Amos at the time which wasnt true but he didn't mind her saying that because he did admit to loving her. He had to get her away from that man. He got her out of Orleans, and it was on to Paris to escape.

Every night, he would pop out of the sea, and once he caught a glimpse of a woman who was singing while working, he would eventually get her attention and talk to her. He eventually convinces her to be his queen under the ocean. But she's confused by this. Either she joins him, or he stays a man forever on land. She takes the magic that he was given for her to join him. They jump into the ocean to be together as one.

That they might be entertained at first Amos said he wasn't there for that because of the book, but after he changed his mind because he got what he came for. He had told them he had a story about a German who was lonely and looking for someone to marry he didn't care for any of the mer folk he knew or seen...

Wow, a lot going on in this chapter it was 2 chapters in one. Amos is looking for the man that took his book. He tracks it back to someone who had it at one time, and he told him he had sold it a man. He goes to him and he makes him realize its not for him. it's by order of King Richard in a scroll Amos gave him to read. This man had a family and his kids were wondering why he was there...

He pulled her out of the house, and she had a dog who stayed behind. Amos dug a hole, and he buries her and says a few prayers. He didn't know what to say to the people he knew, but he knew what he had to do he had to lie. The blood he got on him when she went down he said came from a rabbit he was hunting. His dreams were horrible that night.

Wow that got dark quick. It seems like something out of a horror. Just when I thought Amos was innocent, something insane happened. He went to go see a witch he had seen before. He enters her house, and she asks about the boy he had with him last time that she had elixir for him she seemed to be afraid of Amos somehow and one thing leads to another and she trips and hits her head and falls dead. It happened so fast.

The reveal happened in this chapter Anna revealed that she had stolen the Amos journal her parents noticed something different about her they were worried but come to find out they were happy she wasn't on drugs like they thought. Her best friend Rhee was now in a relationship with someone they both knew, and she was like a third wheel she didn't want to be. Her punishment was to make dinner every night for a month.

I liked the tale Amos had to tell the girls that the young so-called girl was under a spell that only unicorn's dust could reverse after a witch who was her friend casted on her. It was making her age backwards the unicorn agreed after hearing her story so she put the dust in the cup with tea and drinks it. The ending about someone worrying about King Richard they said they would keep him safe while they were away.

The introduction really gives a lot of information about the history of King Arthur and Arthurian legend and how it evolved over time.

It was now time for Gwaine to return to King Arthur's court where finally he had earned his place in the brotherhood of the Round Table.
