Something new a book that is a genre I haven't looked into yet. I need something easy right now. This is an interesting start. Something is happening at the beach I believe in this story, so they can't go there.

A couple of things were mentioned here. When we male a decision to trust God with our lives we are seated with the humanly impossible because God is in charge. When our willingness collides with God's power an unfolding of purpose happens. We need to overwhelm ourselves by God's Spirit. His Spirit never leaves us but when we are disobedient and sinful it can limit the active work of God in our lives. Let God work.

Lots to think about here what are we living for the Me centered life or the life that puts you on a path that connects us to Jesus and how what we are doing alignes with His will for our life. When we think outside of ourselves we are doing for others that's when purpose comes and we are living to serve. That's when our Mission is served. When we step into Mission driven lives we inspire others to continue.

What a set of events leading up to one joyous, memorable day. Tim had everything set up so he could remember this moment for the rest of their lives his girlfriend now because his fiance. With all that was happening everything was cued to make this moment special even his now fiance's favorite singer playing on this special day with their friends and family together and there was not a dry eye anywhere. Wow.

I needed to change up my reading. This book has pulled my focus. With an introduction of 9 and a half pages. I'm hooked. With the title statement Mission Possible, we should embrace all that we are here to do and stop putting things off for another day. This is already helping me with the situation I'm in right now. I know what I have to do now. We can do all things with God, guiding our every step.

A bit of political talk in this chapter and the talk of changing a name wasn't sure if it was Joseph who did or Samuel. Very weird as it was Jesus Barabbas.

Not too much plot here just a little on how Jesus may have grown up to be obedient in everything He was told and the life he lived outside His home.

Wow Herod was nasty. He was already falling apart before his death with foot soars, and people were almost wishing him dead so they could celebrate. He was making plans with his sisters that any Israelite who would be in the Hippodrome would be killed, which never came to pass because it didn't happen like he thought after he passed. Joseph changed his plans because of work, so they went back home where he had work.

Very short chapter but they come into Egypt Joseph gets work for awhile before they are now told to go to Israel. There was more news from home but it was never good. They packed and on they went again into the desert.

Herod learned of the Wise Men not reporting back to him so he sent men out to find them they were never found the Lord also were guiding them they all had the same dream to
get up and leave. As for Jesus, Mary, and Joseph they were now on their way to Egypt. Herod ordered that all boy babies be killed in Bethlehem Jesus, wasn't one of them. The Lord was guiding their way.

The Wise men that were searching for the Child would now be asked to see Herod and he was trying to trick them into giving up the location where Jesus Mary and Joseph were they found it in their hearts this was not the right thing to do. As he said he would want to worship this Child as well bit this is not what they did. They carried on doing what they were doing.

As they made their way into Jerusalem they came upon this man who was blind and he knew something was different he spoke prophecy over the Child that He would be the one to deliver His people and He would be pierced. What a strange prophesy as that's what would happen later on in His life. They almost thought it was very weird that they knew who this Child was.

A couple of visitor shepherds heard a message from the sky and saw a shining bright star that was pointing them straight to this place they asked Joseph if a child was born here recently he said a couple of minutes ago. In the Gospels these men were the three wise men as in this book there is only 2 men. They asked if he was lying in a manger. Joseph said there was no room in town, so this is all that there was.

As they made their way into Bethlehem Joseph and Mary and their family that has been with them couldn't find a place to rest no hotel nothing because of the census everything was filled but the stable where they were to stay for the night while the family helped Mary get through the labor until the baby was finally delivered Joseph knew now this baby was special he could see it now. He would give everything.

Now the census of the day was being held and everyone must go back to the land they were born so they could be counted. With Mary in her condition, they tried to get an acception but couldn't. They had to go and Joseph was afraid but Mary had told Joseph remember what the angel said. Not to be afraid that the child was to be born in Bethlehem, and that is where they were going. The next morning, that's what they did.

Now Joseph learns of Mary coming back he meets with her and learns she is with child. She said she has been with no man that this is the will of God. The same angel Gabriel met with her the same angel that her cousin Elizabeth saw. Joseph was just wondering why the angel didn't come to him too and as he went to bed that night the angel of The Lord met him in his dream and told him the Child is of God call him Jesus.

Joseph and Samuel have a conversation about him still being a bachelor and how he talked about being married in a few days but Mary was nowhere to be found. To Samuel it was as though she ran off on him. Joseph said it wasn't like that at all that she was away visiting her cousin because of her health. She would return. He also talked of Herod and what a bad person he was and that the Messiah would fix everything.

This chapter is happening just as it did in the movie The Nativity. How Mary had fled to see her cousin Elizabeth now 6 months, and she was with her until it was time to deliver the baby. She helped her around the house with chores. When it was time the baby came into the world and as he did Zachary or Zeckariah was able to speak again as the child's name would be John as the angel had said and that led to Jesus.

Mary went off and encountered an angel who told her as the scriptures have said that she would have a Son who's name she would call Jesus and He would be called Son of God. He also told her that Elizabeth had already conceived a child in her old age that she was now 6 months in. This was a little overwhelming for Mary, but she said let it be done unto me she went to her knees crying and praying.

Wow that ending I wasn't expecting, but I feel I know what it leads to. Joseph got the ok from Mary's family to marry her because they knew how much they already loved each other. They first needed to plan it out. Right at the end of the chapter Joseph learns Mary had disappeared.

Getting back to this book. The story that shows so many believers that time has not passed them by that God still makes miracles happen. The story of Zeckariah in this book is named Zachary. He and Elizabeth are told by an angel's prophesy that she would conceive a child in her old age but as Zachary not believing in his heart the angel Gabriel silenced him until the day the child would be born. Then he would speak.

After his curiosity of Mary, Joseph asks to have her hand in marriage. They were all in agreement in Mary's house. This is what he had been waiting for.

I'm enjoying this book just a small conversation between Joseph and Samuel and how Joseph seems to do nothing but work as a carpenter. Samuel calls Joseph out on this telling him doesn't he think about anything else but work. He says he does think of other things but Samuel doesn't believe him. A girl comes into the scene and Joseph seems to like her Samuel asks him does he know her name he says her name is Mary.

Finally, a book that piques my interest. I just read the introduction preface, and I'm ready to start this one. It was talking about how this book came together.

That forward really does explain how the title came about by Morton Kelsey. He describes how Christ came to him in the flesh and he had to ask who this man was who was sitting with him. He had nearly sat next to him. Overall it just goes to show that he not only showed himself to his disciples but still appears to people even today.

A lot of what happened in the story is true but based on real events. This was very much like Anne Franks' story but shorter. I'm glad I can now say that I've finally read it.

The war was now over, and Annemarie was now told the truth of what happened to Peter and Lise. Peter wad shot in the arm but most likely killed later, and Lise was hit by a nazi car. It was very sad. People were now dancing for joy in the streets because of their new freedom. Annemarie went back to the trunk where she had hid Ellen's necklace for her dad to fix it after she broke it on purpose, trying to hide it.

Now we figure out what the handkerchief is for it is to throw off the dogs that the Germans are marching around trying to find the Jews. It ruins their sense of smell, so while the Jews are hiding in the boat, the dogs or the soldiers will never find them. They were getting a little sea sick, but they managed to stay hidden.

A walkin with the German soldiers Annemarie was just doing what her mother had told her to bring her uncle's lunch to him because he had forgotten it. She had placed a package under the napkin and the soldiers opened it and it was a handkerchief nothing more they gave it back to her and let her go all he got was cheese. Everything was ok now he said to her.

Annemarie's story plot is mixed up with the story she is telling the younger girl about Little Red Riding Hood. But this was real she was going through the woods and was hearing dogs growling. She eventually sees them and soldiers.
