The Creation of the world and Noah and the flood. It's a great experience reading it like a story. I can't wait to get through the other stories.

I'm loving this book it's putting Jesus back as my center making sure Jesus is the main part of my life. To know Him in His Spirit, to see the fullness of His wisdom and strength. The abundance of His blessing for our spirit. His joy for His Will for our lives. Also His compassion of His heart for us, especially the work of His Spirit purifying His church. We need to have Jesus in and around us, through and under us,

I wasn't expecting to pick this book up, but I can't put it down. I have another one of her books I may read that one next. I was moved
by this first chapter. She talks about how, as a nation, we have taken our focus off Christ, and now we need to bring it back. I believe God is showing us He isn't happy with certain places in the world. We need to take a good look at what He is showing us. God will be respected...

Hannah and her sister waved goodbye to Anne's father they probably never saw him again as they took a plane trip to Switzerland, where they would find remaining family. This is very hard to rate as it was a true story.

They learn of all who were not coming back, including Anne. Her father read it in a letter he received, thought if she knew he was alive, that she might have had the strength to stay alive. Margot also did not make it along with their mother. Her friends Sanne and Ilse didn't come back, but Jacque was still alive in Amsterdam. Anne's father visited Hannah as much as he could with her being in the hospital.

Things were slowly getting back to normal as they finally were getting real food and medical attention. Hannah asked about others she knew, like Mrs Abrams and her family they had passed away before the day of freedom. There was nothing on Anne yet. Hannah finally then got looked at for her condition in her being so sick... and weak.

The war was now over the germans had lost to Russia they managed to find a place to stay a house where they found food, clothes and a warm bed to sleep in. This was the first warm bed Hannah had laid in, in a long time she was happy to be warm again. She went right to sleep after she changed her clothes and ate.

They were now all being transferred to another camp miles away, and just before Hannah and her sister made the trip, their grandmother passed away she was very old, and her body gave out she was now a real orphan. They were traveling on the train when they were told to get out in the middle of nowhere and go and hide. Planes were flying over them when they were gone they were told to come back and on the train again.

Hannah went to see her father in the hospital, and he was getting worse she could see. She had 2 packages, one she gave to her father it was given to her from The Red Cross. Hannah had made a package from hers for Anne, but some woman grabbed it away from her when she tossed it over the barbed wire fence. She added other things to it as well. She said she would make her another one in a few days.

It's Anne Birthday she was younger than Hannah. Hannah was 6 months older though. Anne was now 13 years old and Hannah was 13 and a half at the time. She got gifts for her birthday and a book from all her friends as they all pitched in to buy it. They gave it to her after school that day. Before she left that day her mother had made her some sweet biscuits for the kids at school. Anne also made cookies she added...

This was quite the chapter I wanted to know about what really happened after Anne and her family left the hiding place. Hannah finally finds out that Anne never went to Switzerland. It was a cover-up to make the Germans really believe they were escaping. Anne came to the camp with her sister only. Mrs. Van Dan was also
there, and she told her that Anne was there and that she could get her so they could talk again.

Hannah is describing the conditions the camp was in one day when the wind blew and it was cold and how many people were crowding in now from being 300 people were now 600 everything was cramped food was almost scarce they had to ration food at the time. When they talked, they were always talking about food and how they wished that they had delicious kinds of food.

Hannah seemed to be getting better and the woman took care of her sister like she said she would. Her father was now getting older. He worked in a different part of the camp repairing shoes. Hannah's factory area made bags of cellophane. Hannah's grandmother was put on a list to get transferred she told them to take it off and they listened to her. She wanted to stay with her granddaughters if she could help them.

Hannah was seeing all the small children from the orphanage leaving for the camps. This made her so sad and upset she couldn't imagine why they would want the children. Their teachers also went with them to whatever was about to happen to them.

Hannah remembers meeting Anne when they both were very little. Hannah was scared to go into school, but once she say Anne, everything was good again and her fear disappeared. Hannah became like a mother to the children in the orphanage camp they were always happy to see her when she returned from working elsewhere in the camp.

The sad, heartbreaking reality they are about to face, finally make it to the camps. Hannah is somewhat comforted when she realizes how smart she was picking the job to clean toilets it wasn't for the job it was to see her father through the gate near the men's side. She was right. She felt better about her time there at least she was able to see him.

Hannah is missing Anne she is remembering all the times they got together and watched a movie, and now that she wasn't in school, nobody knew where Anne was. With the nazis taking jews, kids were also missing in school as time went on. They were not included in the roll call it was sad for Hannah not to hear her friends name anymore.
