I don't know why these people think it's such a big deal to tickle a rampaging bear; I've done it on at least three separate occasions in my...wait, what? We're actually talking about KILLING a rampaging bear? Hmm. Yeah, I guess that's different. I've only done that twice (both, incidentally, via too much tickling).

Of all the revolutions, the French is the second scariest. The scariest, of course, is the Vegetable Revolution.

A new Bob Salvatore book, like the successful extraction of that marble you lost up your nose 25 years ago, is always cause for celebration.

All these vampires have nicknames, second names, or aliases. I think mine would be either "Corpuscle" (because you are what you eat) or "Booger" (because, well, you are what you eat).

I think my favorite part about being a supervillain would be cackling maniacally at random, like when I'm checking out at the grocery store or shopping for a new throw rug at Target.

I love that someone tried to buy Gordon off with a trench coat. I think I'd be like, "Um, did you put money in the pocket of the trench boat or something?"

If I had a pet Griffin, I would totally name it Griffin, but I would do it ironically, so it would be cool.

My only--ONLY--complaint about Ditko's otherwise absurdly amazing art is that Peter Parker often looks like he's 35. So, like me 30 years ago.

Finally got around to watching The End of the Tour...depressing as balls, but absolutely fantastic flick; Segel was an amazing David Foster Wallace. Worth a view if you like Wallace's work.

But seriously--can you imagine how creepy it would be to live in a time/place in which people actually thought vampires were real?
